Chinese President Xi Jinping and then-Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych signed the agreement on Dec. 5, 2013, promising that China’s nuclear forces would protect Ukraine from nuclear threats. The bilateral treaty described the two states as “strategic partners.”

“China pledges unconditionally not to use or threaten to use nuclear weapons against the nuclear-free Ukraine and China further pledges to provide Ukraine nuclear security guarantee when Ukraine encounters an invasion involving nuclear weapons or Ukraine is under threat of a nuclear invasion,” a joint statement on the pact said.

Of course it's up to China how to interpret it and what they would actually do in case things go haywire.

What in the world. So if Poots does tactnuke Mauripol China would have to intervene? What a weird situation. Why has China been so quiet about this? Hoping nobody would notice?

Well they were the victims of an unprovoked invasion by the Nazis, fought them back and eventually pushed them all the way to Berlin and the whole Eastern Front was frankly horrible. No wonder they are trying to spin everything after that as some justified move against some Nazis.

Idk the context of that but im assuming it the same as the promise of the uk/us to defend ukraine against russian invasion lol. In other words: bullschit.

Yeah that's the idea. Should Putin escalate to nuke the Ukrainians, then - technically - China has to step in on the Ukie side.

On the other hand it's China and a piece of paper, so.

So apparently civilians are pressuring Zelensky into not signing any deal. Amount of hatred in West Ukraine is at absurd levels. People running to Lviv and West Ukraine still speaking Russian and now want nothing to do with Russia itself, imagine that. No wonder we are seeing videos of men being taped to polls and shiet, it’s these men who were pro Russia and now try to run and find peace in West Ukraine.

I don't get it either. Its one of those catch phrases that indicates the person using it has no actual argument and instead wants to use negative association to make you dislike someone else. No idea how people don't recognize this. The Nazi party disbanded in 1945 about 6 months after Hitler died. None of those 2 things exist in the modern world.

These papers SHOULD mean a lot when it comes to Country’s making deals. I mean if China brushes it off, no Country would ever give up their nuclear power ever again because China will have shown it’s meaningless. Ukraine would not be in this situation if they had never given up their nuclear capabilities because Moscow is literally RIGHT THERE.

No sale bud, the Nazi party being disbanded on October 10th 1945 and Hitler dying on April 30th 1945 are both facts, nothing to do with perspective or myopia.

If you want to tell me a specific group is bad because they support specific views and can provide tangible examples then that is great. If you want to tell me X is bad because X is a Nazi and their leader is the next Hitler all you're telling me is that you're an idiot.

Calling everyone Nazi's is just a PR tactic for low IQ / low information people, it's as simple as "Nazi == bad" to the average person. The constant labeling as everything as "Nazi" or "Racist" or "White Supremacist" or "Right-Wing" is not intended for higher IQ / higher information people who have more than a Childs understanding of the situation. So just ignore it, it's not for you.

Mariupol will fall soon enough, the only question is how hard Russia wants to push it. It's just a simple equation of how much of the city they want to destroy vs how much time it will take to wait them out.

Russia is trying to avoid a Fallujah style assault on the city like the US Marines did in Iraq.....not because they are worried about causalities or losing the fight.....they just don't want to destroy the whole damn city while at the same time making the entire population of Ukraine be pro-west and anti-russian. I guess people still don't realize the majority of the Eastern half of Ukraine are filled with either Ethnic Russians / Russian speaking people or people who wish to be apart of Russia. They aren't trying to hurt those people and destroy their cities....hence surround them and cut them off.

Going to a tangent there. Nobody who uses the term Nazi means that that they are associated with the original Nazis, just that they are heavily similar groups

I.e. Azov = nationalist, totalitarian, racist, engaging in actual ethnic cleansing of ethnic europeans

I have seen others deflect this idea just based on the fact that one of their enablers, Zelensky, is jew - there were jew enablers in the original nazi movement

Well it's possible we have another Russian media blunder on our hand. Following article was posted yesterday on the Komsomolskaya Pravda (pro Kremlin tabloid), but now it's no longer available.

Fortunately the internet does not forget

According to preliminary estimates of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, from the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine to March 20, the RF Armed Forces have lost 96 aircraft, 118 helicopters and 14.7 thousand military personnel.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation refutes the information of the Ukrainian General Staff about the alleged large-scale losses of the RF Armed Forces in Ukraine. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, during the special operation in Ukraine, the Russian Armed Forces lost 9861 people killed, 16153 people were injured.

Then quit calling them nazis and call them what they are. Considering every anti liberal group in America is labeled a nazi, we’re all kind of tired of hearing it.

These mfs arestilldenying NATO/US fukery played a part in the invasion. I've mostly given up. Time will show the truth.

Azov is 90% akin to Nazis

American conservatives are 10% akin to Nazis

LOL at not using real terms Just because Americans decided to warp their definition to define their domestic enemies as such. You forget that it was Russia who won WW2, they know Nazis better than some cuckolds halfway across the world

“Played a part” - you have spent the majority of this thread and last thread saying the US was THE reason for this war lol...

And i have not changed any of my opinions since day 1. Go back a few pages, ive been saying the exact same things.

The azov are nationalists, at least a lot appear to be..

So what? That doesnt make the ukrainian govt or military nazis.

They were just a militia group that joined the ranks of ukraines military due to need. Its like if the US was getting invaded and the Kkk started defending the southern border.
