Isn't "Sigma Male" supposed to basically just mean you're the indifferent aloof/loner type. I don't understand how it's suddenly become associated with being some Type A "grind" personality.

You need to be alone to grind. Look at Musk, Bezos and Gates. All these billionaires you see made their money by working alone 16 hours a day. They had employees but they needed to be alone majority of the time
