Not in yard but my neighborhood had a pool a block away from our house. We spent our summers there. Swam on swim team too. Was fun AF back then.

I never understood how people don’t know how to swim?

My YMCA used to have a sign saying
50% of black kids can’t swim

We had a large oval pool my dad bought from someone back in the 80's.
had to take it down then transport it then put it back up.

He sunk it really low into the ground though so he could always see who was in it anywhere in the yard.
eventually is just collapsed and became a pond. lol.


Had one in highschool but the liner shrunk in the sun when cleaning it (we didn't know that would happen) and it tore so my dad just took it down because he got tired of maintaining it.

My kids always had at least a wading pool.
deep enough i could sit in it and drink beer when they weren't around.
I now have a Walmart pop-up job with the saltwater system free off craigs list a few yrs back.
leave it up yr round.

I use it more than the kids.

That's much nicer than the pool I had growing up. Living in upstate NY we only used it like 4 months out of the year. When I was in high school we put in a hot tub and got rid of the pool soon after.

Seems to be the way it is around here. Large neighborhood pools that are about 1/2 the size of Olympic sized pools. Can't remember how much it costs for the season with ours.

We don't have a YMCA and I hated the boys club. They were ghetto af. I'm neither black, mexican or white. Believe me I wanted to learn, but my mother had this thing where she held us back because she feared we would drown. Thanks Mom! Whatever, I'm over it.

We lived right on the water on Georgian Bay when I grew up.

Wakeboarding, boating, fishing etc, so no pool needed. One of the few places where you can swim and drink the water right from the lake safely at the same time.

Yeah I did - a generic above ground one. Spent the summers of my youth in and around that thing. Pool parties all the time. So much fun. Many, many fond memories.
*Look at reflection in car window and flex every time crew*
*Use half the roll to wipe after a poo crew*
*Fart in the gym and blame rotten smell on faulty ventilation crew*
*Fart at home and blame it on the dog crew*
*Watch neutron-star density poop mock me as water flushes around it and it stays put crew*
*Drive 2 minutes in the summer and back of shirt gets completely wet crew*
*Coffee black as midnight on a moonless night crew*
*Fat shame my cat on a daily basis crew*

Nah, grew up in a double-wide until 4th grade then moved into a ranch style home where my neighbor homie had a hot tub and pool. Got stroked and rubbed my D against some prime cunny over the years in that hot tub. Many good memories

Yeah my parents were too young when they had me. My dad was still prioritizing partying over everything else, was still in University at the time, and we were living in subsidized housing for students.

At one point they opened a bank account in my name as a kid and were writing bogus cheques back and forth, that they knew wouldn't clear, just to put food on the table. And then came the payday loans.

Had a heated pool in Massachusetts growing up. We weren't well off, but that was the one thing my parents splurged on.

Loved it, but it absolutely ruined me for regular pools. I'd go to a friends house and just dip my legs when it was under 70 degrees. Kind of wish it wasn't heated cause it still f-cks me up.

We never needed heated pools in Florida

I lived in mass too but we didn’t have a pool then
