No excuses. You can't build a superteam and not at the minimum make the Superbowl in a weak conference.

Tyreek traded? must mean nobody wants to play with Mahomes. Pat is selfish and doesn’t care about winning — or are those narratives only applied Rodgers?
and that’s the bottom line

Tyreek to Miami for a 2022 1st-round pick (No. 29), a 2nd-round pick (No. 50) and a 4th-round pick, as well as 4th- and 6th-round picks in the 2023 draft

I heard the Jets were willing to give up their 10th pick and more. Wonder why the Chiefs didn't go with them.

Maybe they did Tyreke a favor, same with ATL sending Ryan to a team he wanted to go to.

The chiefs instantly just got worse. Tyreek hill bailed out the chiefs and mahomes so many times with little slant routes going for long TDs to help win a game with his pure speed

Only $72 million is guaranteed. Either way, 5 draft picks for a 28 yr old 5'10" WR that is bound to lose his speed soon is stupid.

According to Adam Schefter

More Tyreek Hill contract details: The $72.2 million becomes fully guaranteed at the start of the 2023 league year. The other $52.535 million is fully guaranteed at signing.

So 52 is guaranteed when he signs and the rest is guaranteed if he takes a single snap in 2023. Good gig if you can get it.

Hill strikes me a money first guy so I am not surprised by this once it was rumoured. Chiefs took a hit for sure because as many other said Hill can and has been a complete and total game changer.

I still don't think guys like Hill or Adams will be as impactful, never underesitmate the QB is a big reason for any WRs succces , hill & dams when from hall of famers to abover average carr & unknown about tua.
You can get open all day, hit your routes but if that QB can't thread the needle man, means nothing.

This may be true of Adams, but Hill bailed out the chiefs constantly just running around and letting Mahomes heave up a prayer or by just outrunning everybody.

Bills game last year.... Ravens before that. KC would have lost both.

Gonna be a huge loss for the Chiefs. It was going to be hard to win that division with Hill, but losing that kind of dynamic player is a huge blow. Like others said, Hill won KC a lot of games with ridiculous catch/runs.

I wasn't aware of the $52 mil signing bonus. Dolphins aren't fukking around this offseason. Seems like they're finally going all in with Tua.

There is a lot of truth to this but also don't believe it's by accident or luck Hill was given the opportunity to bail his QB out either
The "fukk it _____ down there somewhere" was born from Mahomes and Hill
Tua gonna be consistently hitting Hill 50+yds down the field covered or otherwise? Or all those homeruns just go away for Hill now?

Again not disagreeing, but Mahomes has also still balled when Hill has been outta the lineup (363yd/game, 109 QBR, 8 TD-0 INT in 4 games)
While it's unquestionable the KC offense went backwards today but I believe in the end, Tyreek will miss Pat more that Pat misses Tyreek

Ever wonder if some players don’t care about winning games and truly just treat the nfl like a job?

Like hell yeah I’ll go make more for a team who’s off-season begins earlier. Outside of individual incentives in their contracts they really don’t get a lot extra for winning playoff games. If you play all the way through and win the super bowl it ends up being like 300k. Which isn’t much for a guy making 10+ million

Yes they do treat it like a job & they should. all sports especially NFL the teams have zero loyalty to a player, the moment you slow down you are replaced or cut traded whatever it is. If i was a player I would also be in it for myself. I get some guys will take less to keep winning while others just want the money and again I can't blame them. Why be loyal to a job when they will NEVER be loyal to you?

100% this, can only catch the ball if its within catching radius and Tua has yet to show anything.
