I saw this movie X yesterday, it was pretty good

I saw Spiderman no way home on Sat, my son wanted to see it again before it left the theaters, I hadn't seen it yet

I saw the Batman the weekend before

Then probably Dune

Clifford... it was my 4yo son's first movie theater experience and it did not disappoint..lolz


*cue sad music*... Everyone in the room is dead quiet as a vet run's to a big giant red dog that just heroically saves the day but get's injured. The Director doing everything in his power to leave you on the edge of your seat and unsure of whats going to happen next... and then it happens

My son shouting "IS CLIFFORD GOING TO DIE?"

I don't even remember, but it was something stupid with an ex, years ago. I know we went to the Jungle Book, but I'm pretty sure we went to some other stupid one after that - I just can't remember what it was. Edit - Now I remember, it was Tarzan.

The last one I actually went to because I actually wanted to go was either Rocky Balboa or 300 - whichever came out later (I think 300?). Anything else that I've been to in the years since, my arm was twisted into.

It was a cartoon movie with my daughter. The locally owned "Movie tavern" opened about six months into the Pandemic. I bought the only tickets that were sold in the theatre and we ordered dinner. I got freezer burned wings that were so bad I couldnt eat them...

I realize it was in the middle of a pandemic but I couldnt stop thinking why I ever enjoyed the movie theater and what could ever cause me to come back. Nothing about the experience was better than sitting in my home with access to hot food and cold beer. That was 1 1/2 year ago and I cant think of any good reason to go back into a theatre.

I think Avengers: End Game was the last one I saw.

Not a huge fan of movie theaters.

Saw X as well, was definitely shocked. Didn't see any of the trailers, didn't even want to know what it was about.

Halloween Kills, Spiderman NonWay Home, The Batman, and X.

Too many people hate on movie theaters for some reason, but they are the best way to still experience a movie.

I'm an oldcel so I remember when watching a movie in the theatre was hard on your Angus. The big comfortable chairs they have now, plus serving beer, makes going to th movies better than it used to be. Except of course the movies coming out now seem to be piss compared to back in the day.

Last movie I went to was the Eternals. I was bored.

Joker. Great ****ing movie but I could tell there were too many mongoloids in the theater who didn't understand what the film was about.

By the way they need to start shooting on-sight everyone who checks their phone in the theater

10,000 BC in 2008. Never been a huge movie buff, and that movie sucked and kind of turned me off to seeing movies in the theater. Probably will take my son to see the new Jurassic World in theaters whenever it comes out tho.

I think it was Dune.

Although I still go fairly frequently (pre-pandemic), I used to love theaters back when people knew how to behave in them and we didn’t have phones. Or this relatively new phenomenon of people thinking it’s okay to talk whenever a thought occurs to them.

The Equalizer 2 back in July last year.

I very rarely go to the cinema these days, used to go all the time when I was younger but can't be bothered most of the time now lol.

Would rather sit at home and watch movies on Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ etc.

I'd go to the movies more often if tickets weren't so expensive. I'm old enough to remember movie tickets used to be like $7 and the cinema had their own pre-show entertainment. These days tickets are like $20 each and the pre show entertainment is a bunch of car insurance commercials
