They probably took one look at Elden Ring, and realized they couldn't get away with no bosses, bullchit weapon breaking and inventory, no real reason to explore, etc....


Elden Ring did everyone a favor.

There's not enough time in that delay to make any big changes to the game that they werent already planning. They also couldnt care less about Elden Ring im 100% certian of that

I dont know wtf is going on but its taking way longer than it should unless this game is going to massively blow away already high expectations.

I'm not even that hyped tbh, I loved botw but I dont see how much different this one can be.

I’m willing to bet that isn’t what happened.

That’s just not how game dev works. It’s more likely it just got delayed. Because Zelda games always get delayed.

I hope so. And I hope it’s a successor, not just a pro version. 6 years after launch is too late for a pro version IMO.

I’d be fine if they had a 2ish year period for cross gen games though.

Can’t wait to see switch pro as I’ve known for awhile now it’s going to be more powerful than Xbox series and Ps5 ! That’s why they let the other 2 have an early start ahead of them this gen.
