Do you do some kind of cardio?
Lifting weights won't make you feel your age that much. Cardio will.

I'm 47 and I thought I can still keep up with guys 10+ yrs younger than me but it's really hard lol.
My heart feels like it's going to tear through my chest on how fast it's beating after some cardio workout.

getting closer to death is never a good thing. Seeing aging past 21 as a positive thing is a cope.

lol Wat? You can't stop aging. The only way to do that is to die. The best thing you can do for yourself is to be as healthy as possible so that you'll age well and gracefully.

Hmm maybe. I can’t think of any old person I mire or aspire to be, just doesn’t look like a fulfilling way to live. I actually dread the thought of living life as an oldcel

I honestly can’t see myself wanting to be 70 Srs. I’ll see how I feel when I reach 60

im just saying that saying being older is better than being younger is a cope, ideally we would all probably want to freeze time around the age of 21, not necessarily what we were doing in life but the age

The thread is titled looking forward to XX age, I wouldnt look forward to any "age" beyond 21 is what I am saying, because its all pretty downhill aging after that. Some of us physically peak with our bodies later but thats just because of effort not age, if you had put the same effort in from the time you were 13 to 21 you would have peaked at 21.

yeah just looks because I don't correlate age to experience. But also I never look forward to getting closer to death. I think our consciousness is done when we die personally and do not look forward to the day my meat computer goes out of service. I live life cherishing everyday because from now on its just getting closer to death and I know when I am 85 looking back I will have wished I lived that way.

Probably why I also take a very stress free approach to life. I like to debate and have fun but I don't really let stress get to me anymore it just speeds up that process and none of it really matters anyway if you are doing your best to get what you want out of life.

Oh I don't think anyone is saying it's better to be this old. I took it as you can't do anything about turning a year older every year, so might as well make the best of it and not be miserable about it.

Again, aging is an art.

To accept the new reality and just adapt to it by doing our best.

If it's inevitable then why don't we rather enjoy it

as not the last but a new adventure in our life?
