BERLIN — A 60-year-old man allegedly had himself vaccinated against Covid-19 dozens of times in Germany in order to sell forged vaccination cards with real vaccine batch numbers to people not wanting to get vaccinated themselves.

The man from the eastern Germany city of Magdeburg, whose name was not released in line with German privacy rules, is said to have received up to 90 shots against Covid-19 at vaccination centers in the eastern state of Saxony for months until criminal police caught him earlier this month, the German news agency dpa reported Sunday.


The suspect was not detained but is under investigation for unauthorized issuance of vaccination cards and document forgery, dpa reported.


He was caught at a vaccination center in Eilenburg in Saxony when he showed up for a Covid-19 shot for the second day in a row. Police confiscated several blank vaccination cards from him and initiated criminal proceedings.

It was not immediately clear what kind of impact the approximately 90 shots of Covid-19 vaccines, which were from different brands, had on the man’s personal health.

German police have conducted many raids in connection with forgery of vaccination passports in recent months. Many Covid-19 deniers refuse to get vaccinated in Germany, but at the same want to have the coveted Covid-19 passports that make access to public life and many venues such as restaurants, theaters, swimming pools or work places much easier.

the fact hes not already dead is impressive. Still dont trust the vaxx but it does lend credence to them being at least relatively safe short term for some people.

I imagine that at the vaccination clinics he gave the name of the person who paid him so it would get entered.

Probably means they will easily hunt down the pureblood untermenschen, which was a big reason I didn't try the same and just stayed a proud pureblood

Oh? Show me one instance in your entire post history where someone jabbed/boosted and later had a freak blood clot or heart issue where you even acknowledged the vaccine might have contributed to it. Just one instance, then I'll see you are open minded about it.

Re clots: Personally, I'm skeptical that blood clots are being caused by the vaccine; but vaccination cannot be completely ruled out as a cause based on the information we have. It's definitely worth further scientific scrutiny, and we should withhold from the finger-pointing until a firmer scientific case is presented.

Having said that, these clots are quite rare and the risk is far outweighed by the benefits of the vaccine at preventing bad Covid infections.


There is a German scientific paper which showed that the clotting abnormalities are caused by a phenomenon called clotting-induced thrombocytopenia; that results in the development of antibodies which are dependent on an anti-coagulant drug, so that could definitely be a factor. The issue is there's no element of the vaccine which resembles that drug which might trigger those reactions. It's a big question mark.


In medicine, there's nothing that is 100% benefit and zero risk, but vaccines are pretty close. The risk of blood clotting complications from Covid itself are markedly higher, too.


My conclusion: Vaccines are still remarkably safe, and the apparent issues with blood clotting are just the result of hyper-scrutiny of vaccinees for a condition which is usually underestimated because of how diverse it is with presentation of symptoms and the time of onset.
