lmao at people who fly domestically

US airlines completely suck. Its the most utilitarian cattle herding experience possible. BRB would rather drive 9 hours than wait 2 hours for a 3 hour flight with a 2 hour layover for another 1 hour flight just to get luggage lost at the bloodbath carousel.

Sincerely, wtf happened to airlines. Its absolutely the worst. I fly multiple times a year and it is always chaos.

It's a time saver

I agree that American products are poverty tier garbage, but it's only a few hours of minor discomfort and you save a ton of time over driving

Don't forget the 30 minutes standing in a line so some minimum wage retard can xray all your stuff (they don't find anything, I think like 90% of stuff they sneak through for QA gets through) and then 30 minutes sitting at the gate. Then the 15 minutes sitting on the plane waiting. And add the 30 minutes when you land waiting on your luggage, 30 more picking up your rental car.

Already sitting at 4 hours and 15 minutes being treated like a prisoner and paying $10 for a beer.

edit to add - if you're traveling solo flying is better but with even one more person a road trip is more fun unless they suck.

That's a great point, OP. I will definitely be planning a road trip from where I live in Texas to NYC, LA, or Florida soon. It only takes literally ten hours to get to New Mexico, how much more could a few extra states be?

Probably still have time to salvage what's left of your reputation if you put some wheels on that chopper and take it to the road

All a result from bidens vax mandates. Now they’re short of pilots and crews.

Unless I plan to fly back home to visit family (30 hour drive straight lol no thanks) I'll probably never fly again. I despise airports and the subhumans that act out miserable that plague it. I'll get a fuel sipping rental and drive where I want to go if it's a long trip, otherwise I'll use my truck.

Bro everything changed after 9/11 when the TSA required everyone to either get their nudes taken or grope their privates just to get on a plane

Now you can't get on a plane without wearing a mask, they know that COVID-19 is not what they make it out to be in the media, it's just a little humiliation and power game

In fact, it also serves the purpose of concealing emotions and isolating people from each other, helps you separate yourself from dissidents who are not loyal to the state

Restricting freedom of movement is a classic tactic for authoritarian governments, it's taking a page straight out of the CCP playbook during the SARS crisis

Going further, the policies enacted by the CCP that set the global precedent for COVID-19 were themselves based on the CCP reaction to SARS

As the CCP requires atheism of its members, it's policies and ideology appealed to atheist Democrats and first world governments worldwide

They knew exactly what they were doing, trying to solidify an international neoliberal rule of order via the WHO and the UN

You don't need to come up with wild conspiracy theories to recognize that shutting down houses of worship with armed police is a CCP style tactic of control

Being a Christian in China can land you in jail, and the West got a taste of this falsely benevolent and falsely intellectual authoritarian style oppression

We will not forget what happened in 2020, history will not forget, and Lord willing the people will never allow it to happen again

It's a 27hour drive from where I live to visit my family. But it's definitely gotten worse over the years.

I mean plus getting there early, and from time to time there's delays, time on the tarmac before taking off/pulling in and time to get off the plane, wait for your luggage, find a rental car...that's probably realistically like 7 hours. At that point I'd just drive.
