I think the most dangerous thing is retards skating around cars and getting hit

It is very likely you’ll have a serious injury eventually though

Awesome pics. Great size. Look thick. Solid. Tight. Keep us all posted on your continued progress with any new progress pics or vid clips. Show us what you got man. Wanna see how freakin' huge, solid, thick and tight you can get. Thanks for the motivation.

Can watch skateboard vids for hours.

Andy Anderson is something else on a board, I was more into the Frankie Hill types growing up though.

Agree for the most part.

Skating was life growing up. Man I miss that sh!t. To this day, i haven't been on a board in over 15 years, but I still absolutely love watching vids. Never ceases to amaze me.

Not that I'm a pro athlete or anything, but I will say this.
I was always good sports. Lettered in 3 sports during high school, won state for one of them, got bumped up to varsity a year early due to skill in football, and even played collegiate sports for a major major division.

All that being said, I always did pretty good at various sports (black belt, basketball, football, rugby, etc...) and I don't think I spent more time practicing anything than I did practicing skating growing up and I still sucked so horribly. Such a hard sport to be even DECENT at.

Big wave surfing?

Pole vault?

Those wingsuit racing nutters?

Not hating on skating, which is clearly impressive.

I've never done a kickflip over an 8 step staircase on a skateboard.

But I have gone upside down over a 60ft kicker on a snowboard and I find it pretty hard to believe they are comparable in terms of risk. You really think to yourself up there "Wow, if I miss judged the speed, rotate too slow, and hit the knuckle with my head, I'm for sure dead". Literally been sessioning a jump line and some random jerry rolls in and just dies before. And the best guys in the biz are going upside down 3 or 4 times on 100+ft kickers. Really makes skateboarding feel gimped.

Skateboarding is way more precise with flip tricks into rail combos though I'll give you that.

That's one of the most influential skaters of all time. Why are you hating on someone who became a productive and competent person? Many, many worse things you can do than having respect from millions doing something you love.

at least learning it is fun.

Fun is the most important aspect of skill progression in sport.

That's why I think golf is the hardest sport.

It's very difficult, and extremely boring, so you don't even feel inspired to be better.

I left off on 6 stairs. Was on my way to ollie a 7 one day. I know i wouldve done it bc was in my prime at peak confidence. Ended up getting hurt 180ing a 4 stair beforehand and never made it there. But I remember even on 6 stairs the sinking feeling of your butt going far down upon landing.

Don't you have to be like a twink to do it though?

I think gymnastics is amazing but that is a sport only midgets can do.

I don't think a sport is valid if only certain body types can do it. I have never used a skateboard but it looks like only very skinny, short, low center of gravity types excell. I am not sure a tall and heavy athletic person would have the same abilities.

This is retarded logic

Look at the nba - most of them are tall

Look at the nfl - certain positions all have similar body types

Look at swimmers - tall, wide clavicles

The list goes on

Also athleticism doesn’t determine how great a sport is - what’s more impressive a guy running in a straight line for 100m in under 10 seconds or a guy kick flipping to front side board sliding a 12 set hand rail (the sprinter is more athletic, the skater is more impressive and skillful)

Isn't it valid for every other sport?

If you die in a Formula 1/Nascar race, you are just an idiot driving in circles.
If you die playing football, you are just an idiot running with a ball.
