Why is anyone surprised Ukrainian civilians are dying?

I’m not team Russia on this one, they’re the aggressors, but if you hide soldiers among civilians, and run a media campaign claiming you’re arming all civilians for stiff resistance, how can you be surprised when civilians die?

Their cities have been shelled for the last month while the west sits around and throws out another muh sanctions once a week and watches. Of course their civilians are dying, its a war.

I feel bad for Ukraine because they fell for the NATO and US inflance and now are suffering while the US and NATO are not really able to do enough to help because of potential Nuclear War. The smartest thing for Ukraine would have been to ally with their more powerful neighbor Russia and ensure safety and peace for their people.

As much as i love the USA and i do think it has done great things for the world this war has alot to do with us meddling in Ukraine governemtn with "monetary aid" and other tactics and now the Ukraine people are paying for it.

Also i cant really blame Russia invading either... if Mexico or Canada was doing shady **** and letting China/Russia put nukes near our border and do other threatening **** i am sure USA would do the same thing Russia is doing now.

There are a few youtubers who have been in Russia spanding across the timeline of several years. They've been recording the situation in Ukraine and Russia. Long story short, Ukaranians seem to really hate Russian blood and have been carrying out homicides on a military level. This war had enabled this group to become even stronger and the killings seem to worsen. The latest Buccha fiasco was the works of this genocidal group who then blamed it on the Russians.

Its not the same thing if Russia or China has bases in Mexico. Having nukes/weapons/bases near your country isn't a legitimate reason to go to war. Besides, China and Russia are more qualified to have nukes, since we didn't drop it on 80k civilians.

As much as I spout preventing NATO expansion, it wasn't the sole reason why Ukraine was invaded. Ukraine has be at war with the Russian and Ukaranian civilians for years.

I don't think you are looking at the full picture though. The use of the word "apparently" isn't going to absolve the Ukrainians from their sins because there's lots of more credible/liable sources of info out there.

The entire situation in Ukraine is a breeding ground for war. Russia don't really have a choice but to go to war.

Russia did not start this war. Russia had to step in because the Ukaranians were killing their own citizens and plotting to join NATO.

It's not nonchalant bro, I know Ukrainians and Russians, I even have a Ukrainian coworker who is a good and hardworking man, I do not want them to suffer at all, I love all of God's children
