There are a few reasons

1) you don’t earn enough
2) you don’t save and invest enough

I have an interview next week for a cyber security internship, if i pass it I’ll be through to the final stage and if I get it I’ll be making great money in a few years

I have no degree, my jobs have always been chit

I’ll hopefully afford a house when I’m 40 lol. I live in the big city where houses are crazy expensive, tie that with a low salary and it’s hard to make it

most people are disingenuous to the process. my oldest bro within my family was given a car and parents paid for apartment, college and even my grandparents gave him EXTRA money

while my little bro and i were given none of that. our family was in a worse spot. but my point is do you think my older bro acknowledges this? no. he doesn't have to. he can make it up

anyways, maybe look into real estate? you don't need a degree. one dude i was around the other day made 22k from a sale

just a thought

With high inflation we'll all be broke soon.

With that said, this old SNL clip about inflation that I saw this morning made me laugh. It was about Jimmy Carter trying to persuade Americas that inflation is good and will make us all millionaires.

I make a lot of money but I also give a lot of it away

I've got like $2 right now but can also earn eight or more months of bills in one month

I work for Wall Street selling stocks in big IPO/venture deals for publicly traded clients worldwide

I also do marketing for mortgages, insurance, credit cards, business loans, and other financial products

Am at the very bottom of the totem pole really but it's Wall Street so I make shameful amounts of money

I say shameful because I am used to being dead broke and living in the hood, that's why I give a lot away

I live in a nice house now with a woman, a big ol dog, and two cats, we don't have to worry about finances

Have plenty of food, I pay all the bills with relative ease, can work whenever I want or as much as I want

It really does feel good because I suffered a lot to reach this, life is not stressful at all it feels really good to give

Thankfully, I can stay anonymous on this forum, so there's no way to track down my giving and glorify myself

Because honestly bro, no matter what successes I achieve, I owe it all to the Lord, He made everything

I don't want fancy things, a simple life is GOAT, living in the USA and not in poverty is GOAT honestly

It's one thing to be broke and have all your needs covered along with small luxuries like good food

It's another thing to be broke and be skipping meals or being homeless, and I've been there

Have always admired monks who have zero dollars yet live beautiful lives of peace and satisfaction

People always lie about their income.

Even guys in the military would lie even though its public knnowledge how much everyone makes.

Just part of the show I guess. never quite understood it but it has to be some insecurity type thing.
"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

I have been honest about my income on this forum but it's also anonymous

I don't understand it either, is it like a mating call or something?

Is probably rooted in attracting mates and having lots of food in your cave and chit
