Someone did the same thing to me about 4 years ago. My old account got banned pretty consistently, but this new one not so much. Haven't caught a ban since that warning tho.

Iceman and KenKong banned me a lot, but whoever issued me that warning had a different email.

They kept this place too PC for too long and got too ban heavy for a miscellaneous bodybuilding forum, but its because its attached to the fukking store. This site has been on a slow decline since becoming a store and having nazi mods.

I think it's because chatrooms and message forums mostly died out with the rise of social media and messenger apps for smartphones

Chatrooms especially took a huge hit, some forums are still pretty active. In the case of this forum, lots of users were probably fitness attention whores so they moved on to greener pastures

weird. I never had a problem with iceman1800. kenkong was a real dipchit, tho. I'm pretty sure he was the one who kept playing with people's sigs, editing posts (I think I got negged a couple times because of something he put in my posts)

I also remember some kunt mod Trinity. Never had any issues with her personally but there were a few times I saw her being a kunt to someone out of nowhere, they give it right back to her, she permabans them for mod disrespect. lmao just lmao I was lmao.
VoxExMachina was the worst, tho. internet tough guy going PMS all the time. you could tell he was both a manlet and had a real tiny dick. think bobbydigital with the dial turned up.

the problem with having volunteer moderators is they need to be changed as often as a baby needs their diapers changed, and for the same reasons. they get too far up their own ass, use their inflated internet powers to compensate for any insecurities or failures in real life, and go on a power trip. The worst that happens to them is they get their mod powers removed and they can find something else to do. Then we're stuck with dying communities on the web. I have been to /fit/ where a lot of people there say they quit the misc because of the chitbrick moderators. I know I threw in the towel a few times with this place for the same reason.

The current moderation is actually cool, it was a couple of those mods from years past that really made it about personal vendettas and weird sexual stuff (iceman), that needed to go. Memcop and Red are especially noteworthy, at least it appears to me, for being solid mods.

I think Misc would still have 10 times as many users now if some of the mods from 2010-2015 would have been banned. Mods are mostly fine now even though it kind of doesn't matter.

Pogue lasted WAYYYYY longer than what he should have. Dude is mentally unstable and never should have been a mod in the first place.

KyleAaron was a thin-skinned ****ot, which is a fatal flaw for a mod, but I think he ultimately did mean well. But Bozz, Iceman, Kenny, pogue... those guys all just fukkin sucked. It's fun to know that Iceman is a real-life horrible human being too, makes me feel better about my petty internet grudges.
