If frequency of sex is you're priority over kids, definitely don't have any. I love my kids and wouldn't trade them for the world. We had kids because wanting kids was a priority over doing it every day whenever we please.

for most people it does. But some couples make the time for sex - it's really all about you and your partner and communicating your needs. I am often too tired to have sex but I do it anyway and in a few minutes I get a second wind but I just remind myself that one day I won't be able to have sex at all so I better get it all in while I can

if your girl isn't putting out enough for YOU (everyone has a different libido) - talk to her about it and tell her you aren't satisfied, and its a problem. make it her problem as well.

if she won't put out more, then leave her (srs). one of the reasons (not the only one) that women dont fuk their bf with vigour (or at all) is complacency.

if she thinks she doesn't have to put the work in, she wont.
If she sees you'll up and leave if you aren't happy, then things will either change, or they wont- and she never really cared anyway. its a win win.

if you have kids, thats a different story - hence why you need to vet your GF very very very very carefully before you

Viewing it like this is like being religious - it's for the weak minded. Just like the weak minded need a fairy tale about a magic wizard in the sky in order to be able to live morally, only the weak minded need the extra legal complications of marriage in order to be committed to another person.

Also, once you start adding in big ticket items like buying a house and accumulating wealth together and having kids, the break up is almost as complicated as the marriage.

Yea, I think I'm too disturbed to have kids just from what my parents did to me. I'd never wanna put anyone else thru that. I do get it tho as I get older. Having someone to love like your own child is definitely a responsibility and a gift.

Wrong both biblically and legally. Legally it's for tax purposes and things like not needing a power of attorney for decisions if you're incapacitated. Biblically men married multiple women, no different than me and the wife hunting unicorns

the real truth is that men are wanting sex less in the bedroom now and women are complaining men cant keep up or cant last long enough or cant get hard because of too much porn

lol. How old is your youngest now? IIRC you've been through the newborn phase before, so you know it gets better. Having a zombie wife that's sleep deprived doesn't help set the mood either.

Married 19 years this summer with 5 kids. It's not complicated to keep desire in a marriage. Be nice to each other, give your wife attention, show appreciation, stay in shape, etc. But it's not necessarily easy either.

If you've let yourself go and are immersed in porn YOU have a lot of work today on yourself before you complain about your partners seggs drive...

I agree that you should always look inward first and fix your problems before you ask them to fix theirs..

There are a lot that have done their part and are viewed by their wives as a chore or as another child that requires work, however.

I have a buddy that is tall, good looking, brings home 200k, great dad, loads of women want him but his wife wont touch him. Told him to go find a side piece but not tell her about it (srs)

To be honest I think this is a relic of the 50s that people still want to believe is true...

Most of my male friends do 40-50% of the indoor housework because "there are no gender roles" and yet are expected to do 100% of the outside work because its a "mans job"..

I dont know a single man that comes home, kicks up his feet, demands dinner and a beer while she continues to work.

Women love to parrot the idea that men act like its the 1950s but this doesnt align with any form of reality I know.

...and yes there are dead beat men that do nothing and I dont deny it. I just dont think it represents a significant portion of the male population (at least in the US).

I would agree with that to an extent...

I do have an issue that men have to work their arse off to get you in bed and then work their arse off to please you in bed.

At some level there should be mutual desire, initiative and responsibility. It is NOT the mans responsibility to walk on eggshells, pedestal you so you can grant him access to the gates of heaven.
