As being someone in the trades, I can't stand a thief. You spend a lot of money on equipment and tools and then it dissappears because some lowlife took it to pawn it. So not only did they steal from you but it's something you needed to make a living so you have to buy it again, but until then you lose money. So it's 3 fold. First they stole the item, next it's harder to make your money back because you are missing that item, and then you have to buy it again.

A thief is a thief. If he will steal a vape pen battery he will steal anything else he thinks he can get away with. It's an extreme falicy to believe that they may do it to other people but not you and so you associate with them and trust them anyways. Usually one shady behavior follows another.
