This is what a 52 yr old, 150 lb natty can look like

52 and training since I was 14. I'm not saying this is anything impressive, just saying this is possible.

First 3 are 2 weeks ago.... 5-9 @ 149lbs...2 weeks out from show.

Last 3 are today...day after show @ 156

I'll continue eating and settle in around 162 for every day; probably around 10-11%
Hiking season is starting for me and I can't do 4000 ft'ers at 8% anymore...just too hard at my age. So I'll fatten up a bit and that will give me the energy to hike for the summer.

I see a lot of posts about what's attainable naturally. It just takes dedication guys. You have to have your diet dialed in, a solid training regiment, patience and most of all....consistancy.

I've peppered thyne angus....let the cope begin

Mirin the low bodyfat, no idea how you even get and sustain such a low level of body fat. You're so lean, that you can literally see tendons in some parts of your body. (Ded fkn Srs)

Definitely harder as we get older. That's where the consistancy part really becomes important

I'm a IIFYM,,,,CICO type of guy. Off season I ease up a bit but show prep is 100% strict, no exceptions.

Daily foods are chicken, oats, a banana, avacado, whey, tofu, spinach, tuna, egg whites....that's the usuals. Off season dinner will be whatever my wife has made me for the week;;could be anything really. Last 4 months before a show, last meal of the day will be 4 egg whites and a can of albacore...7 days a week, no exceptions.

I used to do big bulks/drastic cuts but I've smartened up a bit since those days. I'd go from 149 on stage to 185, and back down to 149-150.
Now, I'll go up to 170 tops. Makes the cut so much easier, it's healthier too

I hear ya. I've struggled with the thought of it almost my whole lifting life but never pulled the trigger on it. Looking back, I'm so glad I didn't. I enjoy competing with OCB and knowing I look better than a lot of guys on juice, but doing it natty. I often think of what could be though.

And keep in mind, too, that the 150 lb part is a concious decision due to competing. I could carry myself at 185-190 if I wanted to carry more bf. I just feel better, healthier, more agile at ~165
