Just calculated the average time gained by doing a few changes

I calculated how much time I have been saving by doing some lifestyle changes and it all comes down to around 2.5-3 hours per day, give or take.

These things have really helped:

- I keep profiles on LinkedIn and ******** but I have a Chrome extension to nuke the news feed so I don't end up scrolling. I do end up scrolling on Youtube or Reddit but I have subbed to objective and informative subs without any politics so I kinda get useful info.

- Intermittent fasting with 2 medium meals per day - don't have to think about breakfast. Going to even keep the first lunch meal as a snack and have a bigger dinner.

- Currently undergoing adaptation to strict low carb/keto but usually feel more productive/fewer cravings.

The last two things IDK how much they add as I can't really gauge

- Getting up at 6am rather than 8am or later I feel has an effect on sluggishness.

- I used to drink socially between 16-and 18 but after 18 I stopped cold turkey for no reason and have never had a sip since then (hitting 25 this year).

What do you brahs recommend I do with the time? I have no good business ideas atm so I spend 1-hour careermaxxing (have an idea on how to upgrade my current career path but still just salaried position), and the rest possibly going to start learning Japanese or Mandarin.

Learn to sleep immediately when in bed at night instead of watching YouTube for an hour

Stop mindlessly scrolling through phone / social media when working or on toilet

Schedule your weekends ahead of time and plan for each event/thing you do

Good, true, and accurate tips people posted ITT for sure. I'm guilty of toilet phone-use too, sometimes find myself on there for a stupid about of time for no reason lol.

Sometimes I intentionally leave clothes in the dryer to save time spent on putting them up / folding. Run a quick 5-7 mins dryer cycle to de-wrinkle.
