lol

Considered the same thing. I think that is why the sister wives all had separate yards.

Another post from the comments-

How much do you want to bet he had a bed of some kind in his workshop?
Yeah having a compound would be neat and not all that expensive provided you didn't build them all mansions or bought all the homes in some podunk neighborhood.

Still not worth trading every second of your free time. One wife takes enough of it and mine is definitely on the very low end of the spectrum as far as neediness. Imagine how many missed calls you have returning back from a day on the lake.

Lol "I don't have kids cuz I haven't found the right partner" yet a majority of people have children with "the wrong partner" yeah I'm sure all those single mothers who got pumped and dumped would pick the same guy all over again

Lol "I can't afford kids" kids aren't that expensive, and if you have a strong family the financial burden is even less.

What we really have, in the real world, are people not prioritizing having children in the first place. Having children is an accessory rather than a biological imperative. Has anyone ever talked to women about having children? I have known several women in their 30s who say they don't plan to have kids for awhile because "I enjoy my freedom too much!" Bitch plz if you think you'll be able to have kids when you're 40, they won't be defective, and your days of freedom are spent eating street tacos and bull****ting with 21st century endless content streams.

I mean, how many people in journalism and social statistics are actually going out and thoroughly looking into the issue?

Total economic and social collapse? It's possible if we don't figure out how to manage degrowth.
Wow I find it interesting the notes on it being good for climate. As it's coming at the time of all of this "green push". So there's a huge green push when we have a birthrate problem?

Exposing the green push for bullchit imo
Our entire system has been set up for "more, more, more". Fiat is lent into existence.
Would Def. Be good to separate the wheat from the chaff

Quality over quantity

The bigger problem is for the older people imo. Not the younger. The younger generation will be lower population so older guys business may fall out. But I still see the younger people being able to adjust. What would suck for them is they'd prob have to subsidize more of the older people. And more of their work would go to the older people. And their focus would take away from growth

However, with a lower young population, due to pure numbers some of those old people would be less able to be subsidized

But I don't see this as inherently bad

I don't see a "more, more, more" as inherently good either

Anyways, I'm saying.. yes I see the repercussions. No I'm not certain it's negative

I remember a study debated on here a few years ago, that showed cons had greater than replacement birth rates and dems had lower than replacement birth rates.

One group is pro single parent, alphabet people, abortions, blue hair and cats. These people are having less kids.

So the obvious solution to declining birth rates, is for more people to become conservative

To me it seems obvious that the child tax credit needs to only apply to two-parent homes. That way, there is an incentive to not only have kids, but to remain together for the entirety of the time you claim them as a tax credit (which is supposed to be for things which help society, i.e. donating to charity).

Wanna get divorced? Okey doke, your kids are now a burden on society because they have a statistically higher chance of degen/criminal behavior. You lose your tax credit because you have stopped helping society.
But how do you make more two parent homes with people that want kids? There are a lot of barriers - millions of women doing porn of one type or another. Millions more men addicted to said porn, created a customer/client relationship that pervades society rather than one of building any sort of bond. High cost of living that's only getting higher. WEF forces trying to disintegrate the world economy with apparent success. Society becoming more and more divided into subgroups so searching outside your pre-defined group is going to be even harder. Not to mention how many kids are being hooked on SSRIs and other drugs very early and how many phthalates and other toxic substances are literally causing hormone and sex dysfunction in an ever-growing number of males.

The future is a dark place with everyone hooked up to VR kits and masturbation devices.

But this is why they are indoctrinating kids early into the LGTBQRS DIE cult. If you can't afford private education, the state will own your kids. Definitely interesting to see how it works out over time.

This exactly. Kids and stable marriages are not really a priority anymore, and that's a cultural not political issue. It's not easy to change culture.

Culture can be completely subverted and destroyed in just 1 or 2 generations (look what happened to the white man since just last century), but takes much longer to rebuild once it's been destroyed.

That is a different idea-

UBI for minors.

And TBF I can see some sense to that. If the children of today will spend all of their lives being taxed to support the elderly of previous generations then floating the cost of raising them to adulthood could be a solid investment.

We want the most productive/highest quality citizen taxpayers, right? Investing in children via stuff like nutrition, healthcare, physical activities and education so that our nation has a competitive global advantage in the future seems like a good business decision.

I could even get on board with a "maturation grant", a one off cash payment to a child in their name and under their control when they reach adulthood that they could use for education or to start a business or learn a trade.

Of course the flip side of that is that any fertile female can pop out babies and collect a check.

So maybe we require that "parenting license" to put children on that UBI. Only giving it to the children of married parents would be tricky though since people do split up and it isn't the child's fault. Perhaps require that the parents be legally married at the time the child is born?

I just hate to encourage bad behavior or penalize children for stupid adult things.

Mass Immigration is much easier for the elites.
Yes, this is a problem. And to this point I don't believe that any country has been able to reverse the trend once attitudes change.

True. And you can't make people care if they don't care. All that can be done is to educate people on fertility/age and provide support for the people that DO want to have children.

I don't get where this idea of eternal growth being good comes from. Fifty years ago the world population was a lot lower and we did just fine. Why would we need do fine if we half again from this point?

If they can get ai close to humans, anything seems possible

But the "elite" rely on the bottom to feed. Like a parasitic relationship

Yes, the "elite" have money and do more organizational components but who is going to take out the garbage, who is going to farm, who is going to supply the grocery stores, etc., etc. If nobody is doing it

I struggle to fathom how people think the "metaverse" world would run. When I watched "checking out of walmart" in vr I struggled to fathom the implications.

If humans are so useless, as just plugging into vr and living in that world.. how are the rich siphoning off of their income?

The only answer is if the robots replace the workforce. But they still wouldn't be earning currency I don't think. Unless the rich are simply supposed to stockpile

It seems this ends poorly for the "elite" too if that were to happen

The metaverse will just be one product, but eventually there will be fully immersive VR direct to your brain. A lot of people will also go to work this way. There's bound to be a large portion of people simply kept alive by life support eventually until they can be fully virtualized. Maybe it's how every intelligent society eventually goes? Who knows.

This.

I think having less people alive on this planet is frankly better for everyone who remains. You ever notice how the only guys ever pushing this "higher birth rate" chit are globohomo governments with expensive pension plans to pay? IRL people don't want more people, they're basically voting with their uglies.

Big govt only want babies around to be Ponzi tax cucks. Given that you can import productive white-collar Ponzi tax cucks from India, and automationmaxx away the blue-collar tax cucks (give it 10 years), I really don't see how a low birth rate is a problem. This planet needs to "right size" to about a billion IMO.

I can see two wives working well for me relationship wise if they're good friends. They could keep each other good company, cleaning is easier, cooking is easier, raising the kid(s) easier. Maybe start a small business they can work together and contribute towards bills. There's a lot of plus sides to having two wives.

I can't go past two wives though. I like my peace and quietness.

Agreed. But still everything non vr would be going to chit around you

And much larger implications than just your home

That's too much of a payoff for even the rich to handle

They prob like it the way they have it now where they're exorbitantly rich, all the peons do the work for them so they can live in luxury, and they take their money from them

All the money in the world has no use if buildings disappear and there's nowhere to go, everything is dilapidated, disease is rampant, nobody is producing physical items to show their material wealth, etc., etc. Their wealth would not be used

Again, the rich need the poor to feed off of

The problem isn't lack of people willing to procreate. The problem is the absurd family court situation.

The legal default should be 50/50 split custody and no monetary obligation from either parent regardless of either parent's income.

Change the law to that and a lot more high value men will be willing to procreate without having to worry about getting baby trapped and losing major income.

If the dad is a rock star and the mom is a waitress tough chit. The kid can get a taste of rich and poor living. Dad shouldn't owe the dumb sloot chit.

We need to remove birth control. You literally can't remove biological imperative from sex

It doesn't make sense.

Simultaneously there seems to be an increased infatuation with sex, no? Maybe it's just marketing. But id say people are hypersexualized

It can't be good to have that band aid solution to such an integral component of what it means to be human. You are supposed to have responsibility to your genitals

Dare I say A LOT of this is caused by birth control

I've written about it for a while on here

Bring back slut shaming in full force. Simp shaming too. And heavily tone down the contemporary feminism current that is ruining society. That if you want a functional traditional society back.

The key to a functional and productive society is to bring back the traditional family back. You cant do that with the current debauchery narrative. Having more kids for the sake of having more kids resorting to polyamory would basically put in effect the 80-20 rule making the vast majority of men lazy, unmotivated, angry, frustrated, unproductive, etc.
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

We dont want birth rates in general to go up, we want the best and brightest to have kids and the rest to pump the brakes.

An in game currency wouldn't do anything for the real world, as I just said. All those jobs people do that make society function would no longer be happening thus society would go to chit

They could make something like bitcoin, a digital currency that requires proof of work. But still my point remains.. everything around us would be going to chit. Where people on the computer do "work" for income - in proof of work.

Who's gonna be gathering the oil used for increased electricity demand. Who's gonna fix any of those problems if they arise?

This seems to be a long way off still
The same way office drones earn an income along with managers and CEOs. Sure some jobs will need to remain physical, but there are a ton that can become totally virtual. Every entertainer would probably also enter the virtual realm.

Very few current men could actually handle this

The increase in female births that's not being talked about that skews the ratio even further will be the trigger

1) how does polygamy solve the problems of not being able to find the right partner or not being able to afford kids. Polygamy just adds more mouths without necessarily increasing compatibility nor relative income.

2) the dude overhyped VR is worried about the year 3022 and acting like we're getting The Oasis next year.
