This is something that actually scares me if I were to get a gf.

That she'd purposely order takeaways all the time, indulge in junk, desserts, drinks everyday etc while watching netflix. Complain about me going to the gym and watching my diet. Then before you know it I'm some out of shape lardass bloatlord.

Think the only way to avoid this is if you were to date 'fitness' girls who were into lifting, dieting etc but they're impossible to get if you don't talk to girls in the gym.

Don't get me wrong of course I enjoy eating chit and drinking, everything in moderation but if your not active and eating crap almost every day eventually it'll catch up to you.

Hispanic couple that I knew years back: They were both attractive, in good shape (not huge gym people but healthy and active). Within the first 6 months of being a couple, they each gained ~50 lbs and looked horrible. But they stayed together to this day as far as I know. This was without having any kids and being <30. Crazy

Yeah I never understood how some people completely let themselves go no matter how settled they are. It's not even about impressing the opposite sex but having self respect for your body.

Like yeah I have a big appetite and will gain 15-20lbs just looking at food but the moment I look at myself in the mirror and realise I'm getting fat I quickly slap myself back to reality to get back in shape.

Mind blown how people let themselves gain 50-100lbs to the point they're borderline obese.
