Living in a place that has winter is a waste of life.

Legit starting to realize this and wanting to move.

Live in Canada and we get like 4 good months of summer (may[which is also sometimes chit], June, July, august, and a bit of September). The weather in all of Canada is pretty bad.

Sucks cause I have a good career that I can’t transfer. Wtf is the end game for cold cells, buying a place somewhere hot and then attempting to work remotely for the chitty weather months ?

Feel like I would rather be poor in a spot that’s warm all year.

when I was walking to the barbershop in the middle of December in flip flops and a tank top, I knew I made it

summer isn't even good in 90% of states in the country, hot+humid is awful

I remember playing little league and being drenched in sweat from just standing around on a baseball field for 10 minutes, just lol (northeast)

Yeah I go out every weekend but I legit froze my ass off on a patio last weekend and it’s mid April.

Brb also snowed a bit on the weekend.

I wanna chill outside shirtless and go on walks in a T shirt.

Place is Fukn bunk. Even if you’re a baller in Canada u haven’t made it if u have to cope with winter.

And don’t try and say Vancouver or Vic have good weather, cause constant rain and clouds is often worse than sunny but cold winter.

Still have snow in my yard. Worst day of the year is when we decide to give up on that backyard rink, kids are always bummed out. Our acreage backs onto the Nordic ski club and we love winter. I also enjoy snowblowing with headphones on while my dog runs around just the same as people enjoy mowing their lawns. I really dislike being too hot.

If you’re not happy then move but many of us do enjoy having four seasons. I would say fall is my favourite for hiking and camping.

What part of Canada? Calgary gets nice weather from May to November. Then about half the remaining time is bearable but about three months or so here are hell.

It is what it is and it's a small price to pay when you look at the demographics and crime rates of places that are warm all year.

Yeah the UK is pretty much like this, although we have the most unpredictable weather. Can be sunny and hot then 10 mins later snow comes out of nowhere srs.

But yeah generally September to March weather is dogchit cold af and rainy. April is bipolar, May is meh.

June, July and August temptetures aren't bad but even then there's plenty of bad weather days.

Overall probably only get 2-4 weeks total of hot sunny weather a year considering how bipolar it is.

I live in a Winter climate, and agree 100%. It literally fuking snowed today. And I did nothing but sit inside and work all day.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind a couple months of winter to force me to focus on money and work, but not this 5-6 months of Winter chit. Turns people autistic.

As a kid I loved the winter. Brb snowball fights, brb tobogganing down hills, brb making snowmen, brb stuffing snow down ppls shirts, skiing, snowboarding, etc.

obv as an adult it kinda sucks because having to switch to winter tires (guess you could use all season), driving/commuting in miserable ass weather, ice. Honestly the only thing that sucks about it is related to commuting/driving in it, but that's a pretty huge con in and of itself. I prefer the cold over humid and it doesn't feel like xmas without snow srs.

Yeah that’s another thing. Winter destroys your vehicle. Legit not worth having a nice car in winter and cry every time I have to go through gravel etc or get a rock chip due to overly gravelled roads.
