How does the mother get stabbed to death, but the 13yo is oblivious to the whole thing? I don't think he did it, based off what they said, but how did he not notice or hear anything, even in his sleep? You'd think the sound of his mother getting stabbed to death would wake him up if he was sleeping. She had to have been screaming.
Go back to her house and slip in something into the drink and she passes out. Not that hard. Think more..

I bought some ceramic tile this Saturday. I loaded up 20 boxes because I was guessing that was about as much weight as I could be sure of carrying in my car. Got several offers to help me pull/push once I was out in the parking lot which I declined, though when finally some men just started pushing without asking I didn't argue about it. I had already walked towards the wrong blue car twice.

After I was home I looked up the weight per case out of curiosity. 20 boxes came to about 850 pounds.
look at you trying to make this about yourself. pathetic.

the murder part is easy; a quick slice through the throat and she'll bleed out with barely a peep. she was also killed in the basement while the kid was upstairs on the top floor. so she was probably getting her back blown out in the basement before she died.

Yeah it's definitely odd.

Maybe the son had headphones on, but to not hear anything going on is very unlikely.

hmmmm intredasting. the plot thickens. ok no way a hit man would do something like this. im assuming a pro wouldnt just stab the living shiet out of their target like that.

man being a homicide detective seems fun af.
Hit man wouldn’t leave a bloody trail though. She wouldn’t have made it back to the house

Everyone here is saying it’s serial killer Chad but IMO far more likely to be serial killer incel, guy at bar who wanted her and followed her home

Interesting and unusual case. Not much to add other than I agree the brutality makes this appear non-random.

My guess based on reading for 30 minutes about the story: The wife was likely a crazy bitch with some type of bad personality disorder, and husband is a busy guy who likely isn't home a ton. Wife has been living somewhat of a double life for many years now, and husband doesn't notice because he's gone so much. But you don't have weird goth kids like that(especially with a wealthy dad who comes from good roots) unless the mom is fuked up in the head and making the kids that way without dad being home to do much parenting.

Guy who killed her was probably some type of ex fling that she lovebombed and discarded. Then fuked with his head badly and now he came back for revenge.

Seems a little messed up to say, but I bet everybody in the family will thrive now with mom being gone.

How about someone from her past, a long ago boyfriend or someone she screwed over financially years ago, who she ran into while out that night. He pretends everything is fine, water under the bridge. She invites him over to the house, he lies he has to get some condoms and he'll be right over. He arrives 10-20 minutes after she did, after a quick stop home for his murder supplies.

Or a pro hired by her husband, to seduce and chop up.

Either scenario she invites him in and he essentially recreates "Hey Paul!!" from American Psycho. He drags the body to be 💯 there is no blood or DNA in his car.

It's probably not as unusual as you think, but we just aren't going to hear everything until they catch someone. I'm sure some very key pieces haven't been released yet because they need to keep those to prove the guy did it.

Fair enough. Most murders are solved quickly bc the killer is stupid and/or obvious. Interested to see what additional elements come out.

The bloody trail was from the hockey bag being taken to the dump site.

She was killed in the house

Yeah, I agree he clearly had to know something. But these type of girls are pretty crafty with their lies usually. I'm sure he is gone from like 7AM to 8PM every day, so it doesn't take much lying on her part to pull the wool over his eyes. And he probably isn't even looking thaaaaaaaaat hard at what she's doing to begin with. If she has no problem telling a bald faced lie to her own 13 year old son and leaving him home alone, she has been lying to everyone for a looooooong time.

i can't believe how many people don't think a teenager could sleep through that. They can sleep through ANYTHING. i used to sleep through the dorm fire alarms in college. I got an RA in trouble cause they actually check the rooms and he didn't see me cause i was up against the wall.

I know his mom was screaming but if she's in a garage and he's sleeping upstairs... I can see him sleeping through it.

It is interesting to me that they cuffed the kid when they took him in. I get he was home but I'd think they'd need more than that to consider him a prime suspect on the spot.

i dont think this will take long at all. that comment about the person being "someone sending them to jail". either she actually sent someone to jail or whoever said that is lying. and why would they be lying. doesn't mean it states who but i think you'd have a decent pool to pull from right there; like son or dad or person that was sent to jail

plus, i agree it wasn't a hitman. way too sloppy to be so

Good reasoning

I thought the father lived elsewhere after a divorce, or do they live together?

This is my thought on what happened based on the facts:

Typical housewife bored of being a housewife starts cheating on hubby. Sex with hubby is probably non existent at this point and hubby doesn't give her attention, she's still attractive and maybe meets dude online or while on her walks.

The dude she is seeing catches feelings for her, she gets tired of him and starts seeing other men. OG side dude gets jealous and begins stalking her and eventually kills her

I might add... if the husband travelled a lot and she was slooting it up every time he was away, maybe the 13 year old knew about her slootiness, been secretly dealing with it since he was a little kid, and zones out all noises coming from his mom's bedroom in the middle of the night when his dad is away...

Do you not find it at all odd that on a predominantly male site made up of men who pick up heavy objects on purpose there were multiple comments about how this woman would be too heavy for a teen boy to move? In a bag with wheels on? She isn't exactly a heifer.

Its just another factor of trying to find the suspect... what are you trying to even insinuate? or did you want to complain more about chivalry at home depot?

Most boys are weak AF, barely do physical activities, and spend most of their time in front of their phones or playing video games. Boys these days simply lack the grip strength to pull a 120 lbs corpse, nor could one stuff one into a bag.

An angry manlet or a womanlet is more plausible.
