Let me introduce you to my friend Tony. He'll cut you a deal real nice. You pay off the cc, buy your girl some flowers.. real nice.

You'll just owe him a small favour in return, real small. Along with the principal and some interest obviously.

*Pinches cheek, slaps face.

I'll give him your number!

1. Don’t ever call yourself a loser. If you don’t stand up for yourself, others won’t either, because you give them no reason to believe in you.
2. Your debt is peanuts compared to the debts of many others
3. I hope your dad recovers quickly.
4. Everything is transient, including your financial situation. Don’t let a bad situation stop you from acting on changing it. Your will and actions are the most important thing. The immediate situation means less than what you are doing at this time to change it.

We all have phark ups, it's about learning from them and doing things in the future to avoid repeats.

I'm 26. Last year for the first time in my life I was debt free, student loan and car paid off, made over $110k gross, saved back over $30k, and through a combination of lucky investing and options gambling like a mad man I got as high as $60k I believe with that account, all in the same year. Fast forward to now that account is actually $0. Ded fkn srs.

Now it's April 2022 and I've got back my emergency fund of 6 months, got a juicy 401k, still debt free with the same paid off car, but no extra investments/savings beyond that. Partially because I've bought a lot of chit lately, including study materials and an expensive exam voucher for a cyber security certification, which I studied for 3 months and passed on the first try thank phark.

I'm glad I'm 26. But it hurts and I've been depressed for 4 months due to a combination of the above, having also broke up with my gf of 3 years LTR last year, having zero social life, and I was not proud of my physique. I haven't laughed in months, not even a smirk when genuinely funny thing is presented to me. That's depression.

I've recently lost 15 pounds, and have gained a lot of confidence. I'm laughing again as of this week. I'm going out more, and wanting to be seen more. I want to build a social life and strike conversations with randoms and care about people. I actually went as far as to knock on the door of some hot neighbors, two girls that are roommates, who have been there for a year and I never knew their name, and they host parties and chit in their apartment from time to time. Super friendly, shook hands, told eachother our names, made some jokes, and I'm pretty sure I came off as endearing and sociable. I might get invited to future parties they have or hang out if I'm lucky.

I get it brotha I get it, my GF broke up with me on v-day, 3 year relationship, while i am not depressed anymore, i was in my teen years for about 5-6 years, im bipolar, im on medication for it so it helps me stay sane and stable. Im happy you're doing better...If you were in in NY I would invite you out for a beer bro, no kidding. Like everyone told me, keep your head up.

Edit: More impressed with your computer stats haha, im a web dev, and geek out on that sh*t

U in cali?

Why not just go to San Francisco and go to random stores and just walk out with as much stuff as you can carry, then bring it back home in your car? Sell what you bring back home on the internet to payoff debt

Srs

Only flaw in this plan is someone is likely to break into your car and steal what you got while you are inbetween stores. If that happens just go back to the stores

OP Verizon just raised their minimum rate to $20 an hour, maybe try them

https://www.verizon.com/about/news/v...age-20-an-hour
In recognition of the hard work and dedication of its V Teamers, Verizon is raising the minimum wage for new employees to $20 an hour for Customer Service and $20 an hour (when base salary plus target commission are combined) for its Retail and Inside Sales employees

I've been quiet through this thread with you. I gave you 30 dollars a few months ago cause it seemed like you were on hard times and you were trying to ask people if they needed internet tasks done for a few bucks. I helped you out for nothing with the thought you were probably full of **** and you'd never pay me back like you said you would, you keep proving it. Too good to go out and work and make money doing anything but computer stuff like suggested earlier? You should make 35 an hour, but can't find a job. Last job you were making 25, you settled for that job, lost that job and don't want to settle so you just mooch off others? Thought your ego was too big to settle for anything you think is below you?

I think I'd rather work for 20 dollars an hour and support myself than live with my dad at 34 and beg people on the internet for 20 bucks.

You have humility, that's something

Second off bro, diligent hands will rule

Gotta dig deep and find that drive, it's there

If you have to, get a temp staffing job

There is work if you are willing

And rationalize your problems, kids or people your age are literally dying in Ukraine right now getting their houses blown the fck up. Compared to them you have no problems you priviliged P.haggot.

Look at the posts in this thread, I could post a link to the thread he was asking for money in or screenshot the PayPal transaction. Don't really care to, he just needs to quit coming here for sympathy and acting like he's so ****ed when he can do something about his situation and quit being a leech and do something.

Also bro, a lot of online job apps are just a formality

If you want an insanely higher success rate, write cold emails

You have coding skills, just gotta network and meet the right people

If you know absolutely no one and can't go to networking events and chit

Then send out cold emails to companies that you are interested in working for

You have to go against the grain and think outside the box to succeed

Average actions will give you average results, it's hard out there

Gotta adapt and innovate to survive, try new things and fail

That's all the game I have for you bro, Godspeed

Your ex girlfriend is a **** bitch good thing you dodged a bullet the software dev market is hot right now you can find a job no problem in tech. After multiple screw ups on previous technical interviews I just landed a job offer today, two weeks ago I was seriously considering joining the army for some tech positions because I thought I was ****ed with no job lined up after college but things turned around in a matter of minutes and I think it will happen for you as well. Apply to 10 tech positions per day at least
