I guess my "technique" is to never start dating as no-one is interested in you. At least you don't need an escape, or a way OUT as the door IN was never open anyway.

I don't know how anyone can get multiple dates, like more than 1 or 2, so easily.

Women back then were forced to be grateful for even having a husband. Someone to take care of them.

Marriage was an economic thing.

Before feminism and the sexual revolution, people married their next door neighbor.

It wasn't until after the 1950's-1960's with the rise of subrbs that things changed.

All the soliders came back from war and married the nurses or manufacturer workers. (Marilyn Monroe worked in factories during WW2)

The rise of Playboy and "Free love" hippie communes.

The culture shifted towards a consumerist mindset of taking people out on dates instead of courtship or asking fathers permission of marriage.

You had to pay money now.

Then the 1970 - 10980's came where women decided they weren't stuck to their husbands anymore. So there was a big rise of divorce.

The dating culture changed where people put in classified ads in Newspapers and sent VHS tapes of themselves to get dates.

Then came AOL IM

and now Tinder Apps where people judge each other by pictures of themselves

The dating culture has shifted so much in 100 years.

Honestly it's going to keep getting worse.

Yup. I went from random FB pics, got barely any matches. Staged one pic with my parents dog where I chose the one that looked the best and I have a ton of girls messaging me now.

Funny cause im the same dude with the same hobbies and profileand same other pics so shows how much diligence these chicks actually put into choosing a mate... 3 secs of prof pic and its a swipe or not whereas ill try and sort through all the pics, descriptions, etc.

Pics are VERY important. Most guys take bathroom selfies and their photos are terrible, so that's your competition. You've got to look better than your competition, which isn't hard. Well, at least in my area which is mostly computer nerds.
