Alright. I have Xenoblade 1 for both my switch and 3ds on backlog. Which version is better? Sounds like I should start already here.

The games are only loosely connected.

Wouldn't matter which one you start with.


That being said, despite it only being on Switch hardware, Xenoblade 2 is one of the prettiest games I have played.

Extremely overrated Jrpg series imo.

First one was mediocre and a wannabe mmo type of game. Characters were **** too, ending was cool though, that's it. Seems to be hyped up by nintendo fans. The second is only good if you like anime waifus and hentai.

Speaking for myself, it's kind of No but ten at the same time, I put time into Atelier Ryza for the obvious reasons

Nintendo has truly fully utilized the switch’s specs. We see it in Zelda botw, monster Hunter rise, bayonetta 2 and super Mario odyssey to name a few. Luigi’s Manson is said to look stunning too but I haven’t started on it yet. I tried the demo and I almost **** my pants. It’s just so spooky, and scary, I definitely can’t play it at night.

Anyway, xc3 since it won’t matter what order you play them in I would start with 3. This is one series I have stayed out of so far. Because I didn’t like any rpg for the longest time. So I haven’t play the first two. That and Star Fox aren’t my cup of tea.
But this release update bodes well and gives me hope maybe we’ll see other games pushed up. Mp 4, Botw 2, Metroid prime 1 remake, Mike Tyson’s punch out 2….etc..

I didn't love Xenoblade 2. Kinda was a weird pokemon waifu game

The stupid gacha mechanic is what made me stop playing 2.

The zone designs were magnificent, with a little touch of some metroidvania concepts, and the story, while a little childish, did have some really good parts for what i saw.

But the idea that they hid the best Blade behind a lottery system that you had .000001% chance of getting is dumb.

Yeah the series is just kinda whatever, every time I tried to get into the games I just couldn't. They're the type of games that feel like massive time consuming grinds to play with loads of obnoxious characters.

pretty stoked, but need to finish the Xenoblade 1 remake first.

Xenoblade 2 was my first Xenoblade and I enjoyed it. just fuarking LOL at this scene (funny part ends at 4 minutes in)

Game must have been complete. Sometimes Nintendo holds games for months after they are ready, in order to spread stuff out. I heard the Metroid Prime remaster has been done for a while.

I tried playing it on 3DS years ago and the screen is just way too small for that kind of game. The hud is just too busy and it's hard to appreciate the environments.

Having come from the game space (decades back), a game being ahead of schedule is almost unheard of. It's a guess but the odds are they held it for the opportune moment.
