What are you paying for chicken breast at the grocery store???

Just got a couple of these knowing that I haven't paid under $8/lb because I've been living in NYC/DC.

Love being back in the great Southeast boyo.

Typically goes for $3/lb but this should last me a while.

$2.44 the last time I stocked up. Luckily I found a sale for pork shoulders too at $.99 got 20 lbs eating smoked pork for days

Same price. I shop HT as well and they have it at 1.99 on sale a lot. ALDIs is 1.99 all the time. Publix is usually around 2.99-499 per lb but they go on sale as well.

I butcher my own chickens. I raise them on a fully organic diet, ends up costing me about $12 per bird. Couldn’t imagine buying meat from a store with all the chit that goes into it.

I get my chicken from BJ's and it was $1.99 a lb for forever until about a month ago. Now it's $2.39 or something.

Depends on the cut, quality, and how it's packaged. I usually buy them precut into smaller pieces and top quality. That's $2.6x/lb

Costco meat is the GOAT flavour wise I find (besides organic or farm raised). Don't know what they do to it. I do a meat run every three weeks or so and get chicken breast, thighs, a few roasts/ribs, bacon and ground beef. Would rather pay a bit more and get what I enjoy.
