Surrounded by cuteness (pic) She can have anything she wants

Does not need a lot of explanation as to why this little girl melts me every time!

She is too funny and TOTALLY knows she is doing it!

She is 7 months now. Her older sister is 3 1/2

Idk how someone can NOT have a dog. Unless their housing/lifestyle doesn't fit.

too much work, responsibility, commitment. i like a simple, easy life. i don't want to constantly feed and animal, look after it, take it out, and pick up its shiit. i don't even want a goldfish or a live plant. i like other people's dogs - you can play with them, soak up the good vibes, and then you can give them back! they are chick magnets tho. imagine walking down the street with this little girl. and Florida is very dog friendly - you can take them to happy hour at the bar and the girls are all over you!

Dogs are huge commitment. I work from home, and my wife is here all the time also. My son is a 9th grader and daughter senior.

The dogs are part of our daily life. Really amazing companions, but we live and share our lives with them and they become a big part of it.

Start my morning drinking a cup of coffee and sit outside with them for a bit, then we all go in and wake up my wife...etc. Life is good. But I dont know how good a life it would be if we were not around all day. They definitely need attention.

Here is a few fun reels I made of them. These were from the fall and she was just a little pup.

DEFINETLY! Like 80 here today. Going to be a great weekend. I still have not cleaned all the track residue off my fun car so I had to clean the other for a few good car events this weekend. Dreading getting all the rubber off the other car! Have the weekend off soccer and going to enjoy doing more car stuff with my son!

Going in the gym now and pizza later for dinner. What could be better?

We are home all day, every day. Their training is being with us and we interact with them all the time. They are a 'stubborn' breed, but they love to make you happy. They are also very smart. So they learn what you want and dont want them to do.

They go outside with no fences or leashes. They just know not to go too far. Potty training this breed is tough(er). They really dont get it well till 6-7 months. I am not saying this to boast, but we have a fairly big home and way too many places for them to find to go. With a smaller place, it would be easier. But we used a gate and that helped a lot. Little one still has a mistake here and there when she gets excited.

Yea. Never been a dog person and after our last dog died I said no more. But I wanted my kids to get to experience a dog and we got the older one 4 years ago and our lives changed again. Love it. It is a lot of work, just like kids, but worth it.

They seem to have become the 'in' dogs on social media. It is unfortunate as it tempts breeders to overbreed etc. They were already expensive dogs since they have very small litters and are delivered c-section. We got our from a fantastic breeder who is super passionate about her dogs. She raises them in her home, not a kennel, and she wont even talk to you until you fill out back ground checks, send pics of your home...etc.

For a dog like this is MOST important that you get though a good breeder and not someone pumping out for profit.

But the popularity of the breed, I would say has a lot to do with personalities. Watch a few youtube vids on frenchies and they all seem to have common traits about them. So funny as dogs and companions. Sweet beyond belief and affectionate. We used to have a bull mastiff years ago, and I never liked small dogs. But they really dont seem like a small dog, and they definitely are NOT fragile. Not yippy. Like a 100lb dog in a 25lb body.

Id recommend to anyone, but just make sure you get from a reputable breeder.

Pretty dog. But I like to do more than just look at my dogs. I dont want a aloof dog. For us, they are part of our lives, all day, every day. But what works for you is good too! Looks like you just capped a pic off the interwebs. Not sure if that is your dog or not. But I would never torture a dog like that to live in the south. Too hot down here for a dog like that (fairly). But some choose to do it.

Yeah it would be hard to say no to her.

Why have a lapdog if not to spoil them like a proper companion should be spoiled?
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.
