Ever find yourself in a bad spot realizing you don't know anything?
Anyone live life taking advice from people and carving your own path at the same time? Mixing your own experiences with people you love or trust and making your own life.
Ever fallen after you thought you made it? Maybe even just fallen a little off the path you made?
Have you gotten to the point to where the people you could ask advice from are going through much worse than you, so you can't even fall on them for advice or a place to let go of all the weight that makes you barely think anymore because it'd be selfish? Whether through age and dying or going through their own ****.
Ever have people come to you for advice but you feel like you have nothing left to say or you yourself are lost or your own past decisions makes you second guess anything you could say to someone that might help them?
Got my own **** but i'd ike to hear about you guys and gals, and my ears are once again open.

Be more specific if you want help, generic advice :
set a goal
find a job and keep looking for better
workout or run or move
walk for 20 min min 3 times a week in a nature spot
supplement w vitamin D
ideally have at least one friend to talk to IRL
always keep a positive mindset (thoughts and vision)
All of this is cheap / free

my go-to is a mid 40's black man who i met at the gym years ago. super strong. he sends me a few emails a week about God's teachings and it keeps me on track.
he also sends me texts without knowing my exam schedule but it always reads something like "goodluck" or "you got this". its like hes got some sixth sense, its wild.

I don’t really take much life advice from people because I just straight up know more than almost all of them. I don’t care how arrogant that sounds. I’ve been balls deep in anthropology, evolutionary psychology, intersexual dynamics, statistics, etc for over 6 years now. Most people don’t have the slightest clue that their identities are all illusory and that they’re all just biological puppets.
But I’ll never forget a quote my 8th grade history teacher told our class. “The more you know, the less you know.” I didn’t understand it at first because I thought “Isn’t it the more you know....the more you know?” Lol. What it really means is that the more you start doing your research and figuring out a lot of sh!t, you reach this epiphany stage where you realize “Man....there’s so much more information out there that I’m not aware of that makes me feel like I still don’t know jack sh!t......fuk.”
People are generally quite good at or eager to give advice to others because they don’t have to put in the work. They suck at giving themselves advice because that means they have to change and changing your poor habits is hard. So we suck at helping ourselves with the knowledge we already have of how to fix it. Easy to point the finger at anyone but ourselves.

Your 2nd paragraph makes me think of my first post and what I just said here. Your 3rd paragraph I think of everyday with myself and others. Solid post bro repped.

I have found myself in a good spot realizing I don’t know anything.
The only time I have been in bad spots is when I forget that, and think I know something.

Taking peoples' advice is one thing, most folks need to get the reps in.
It's like reading a recipe for a cake in a book.
Just because you read the recipe doesn't mean you know how to make the cake.
You have an idea, more information than you started with too, but the onlyrealway to learn is through the repetition.
