I dont care about fat people in the slightest. They know good and well what it'll take to lose some weight, but they dont.

I believe that the parents of obese children should be fined and/or jailed however.

I only care about kids... that's why the groomer teachers need to go... for good. Anything fat positive should be banned and fined however. The only "fat" related topic you'll see on TV/Movies will be A) making fun of them B) the consequences of being fat. We seem to glorify being fat in this country now. If you want to be a fat piece of chit adult then go ahead. But you'll be painted no differently in the eyes of society than a drug addict.

I do not have a comprehensive solution to propose but I do firmly believe all women should be judged using a golf like scoring system based on the size and/or volume of their bowel movements I mean that way these HTC ladies with big egos would not be walking around with smiles plastered on their faces when they are social outcasts because they are hovering around twelve under par due to the series of colossal fudge cobras they fired off the week prior following a particularly aggressive visit to the local chipotle

All of the answers about "processed foods" on here are disappointing.

You are doing the "woke" liberal thing only with food.

You can get ripped on McDonald's if you want.

It's not the fault of "food" or certain companies or products that people are fat. In addition, "processed food" is is still the same basic macro nutrients as any other kind of food. It's not some kind of invented food from the 34th Century, it's food.

People are fat because they allow themselves to eat when they are not hungry and eat too much food when they are hungry. This is due to having no community in the US and a work only culture.

4 cheeseburgers is 1200 kcals. You Can eat that without Even feeling full afterwards. Now compare that to homemade meals. The general public doesnt lift, do juice or count macros so why tell them to eat junk that isnt filming at all??

It's called hyponatremia - and you have to drink over 10 liters of water for it to happen. Most people don't even drink 2.

And your body is made up of mostly poison I guess.

What kind retarded comment is that?

My comments are "woke" because why?

You don't even know what you're trying to say.

Do you have a f@cking job?

Some people work 16 to 17 hours a day. They have a work day, travel, then work after work. If you don't understand how that leads to eating comfort food and not having time to cook, then you are very immature.

NO....it's called Psychogenic Polydipsia, as I've said.

People can have hyponatremia from other causes such as kidney issues. However, that's a SIDE EFFECT of Polydipsia.

I literally had a case like this a few weeks ago and have had others in the past.

I hit the gym daily for at least an hour or two and never drink water. I used to bike long distance and never drank water.

It will make you very sick and exhausted.

If you can't counter my comments, you are a butthurt retard.

People are not getting fat in the US from food...that is absurd.

NEARLY EVERYONE knows about food, eating too much, and obesity in the US. The problem is they do not care.

There's gyms everywhere, there's diet food, there's massive choices in supermarkets, but the people do not care.

Why they don't care is why they are obese.

This is a mental illness, you idiot. Compulsively drinking water to the point where you give yourself hyponatremia is not the same as water being toxic.

Your sentence made no sense.

Water is in fact classified as a poison and you can look it up.

One can have compulsive drinking, which is caused by mental issues, but if you read about the condition WHICH YOU F@CKING HAVEN'T, you will see that people can drink too much water out of the notion it is healthy, and develop the same issues.

It is why sports drinks were invented.

Low sodium is definitely going to be something that results but low sodium can be caused by other physical problems too---AS I ALREADY EXPLAINED.

I explained several posts ago.

I explained that I was around when smoking was unchallenged. Then, the media started demonizing and shaming smoking and it worked.

You do not see a lot of smoking and certainly not in buildings, etc. People actually believe all the hype about smoking.

You could easily make being obese gross and shameful with a similar media campaign.

That's why would counteract "sport eating" and "stress eating". People used to smoke to counter boredom and stress, but now they don't.

Biking and all of that stuff is never going to happen in the US. We cannot change the size and layout of cities in anything under hundreds of years. Not all people can walk or ride bikes, they will get injured and sick (thus my water comments). Also, our clothes are not right for biking.

So, the ONLY way to reduce obesity is to attack eating in the same way smoking was attacked. With eating should go drinking alcohol.

However, we are in woke mode when it comes to fat people, so media campaigns would need to be pretty mild at first.

I also noted that having a fat sloppy population is good for people in power. It spreads low self-esteem and a lack of vigor. So, I do not see "the people who control the media" doing anything soon.

How about just free Healthcare subsidized by the fatties if you're under the BMI limit for your age group?

Of course the BMI needs adusted a bit since currently it classifies most muscular people as obese.

The Russian communists tried to inspire more community activities and increased time off from work to stop endless work stress and disconnected families in a capitalist society.

They didn't do a good job, but they were on the right track.

I read that we in the US work more than serfs did in ancient times.

Most of their work was done in daylight hours and had to do with farming. So, you can't "farm" for 17 hours a day, because not that much work is needed, also you can't farm in the dark. However, many modern people literally have endless amounts of work that could be done all day and night, so work is higher as is stress.

We have massive workloads which means little time with family. The communists knew this was bad for society and health.

As I have mentioned before, a giant meal and snacks feels rewarding after endless work and dealing with family you barely know.

Instead of punishing everyone---which is a gross American attitude---we need to push for more worker's rights and stop rich people from enslaving us.

It's because eating is legal fun and when you live a life low on fun, then what you're going to eat becomes your fun.

It has nothing to do with food.
That's a lie - we know refined sugar can be addictive and the amount of refined sugar in the processed foods people choose for convenience - like you said above - is a) unhealthy for them and b) causes them to crave more.

So there is no one size fits all answer - but a big portion of the problem absolutely does have to do with food

so is it because people don't care as you said above or because of the rich people enslaving us?

How does this theory account for the number of obese people who don't actually work?

so sugar taxes that make processed food prohibitively expensive - first rational thought you've made in this thread
