Stopped months back. no pre-workouts, no diet soda or soda with caffeine. Drink decaf once in a while, but don't want to be relying on coffee just to function throughout the day.

I quit for two days recently and lost a ton of bloat, stomach issues went away, anxiety went down 90%, sleep was better, felt calmer/happier and that was just in a couple days
Imagine what stopping after a few months would feel like

I've reduced my intake of caffeine, and I'm able to sleep better. I don't think I'll ever quit cold turkey, until I'm really old, barely lift, and just take walks.
When I come down with a cold, or the flu, I go cold turkey during that time.

But who was (real) tea
Switched to black tea for my morning cuppa. It has a more calming effect IMO. Way less caffeine too. won't help with the stained teeth tho, might just have to suck it up. Besides, bleach white teeth are for phonies anyways.

Is there anything out there that is non-caffeinated that gives you energy for most of the day?

My one vice is caffeine. I have done multiple months of from it. Always get great benefits. Better sleep, can wake up without feeling groggy in any way, calmer and more energy overall, and just feel better overall.
But when work gets long and I have 12 hour days on my feet caffeine becomes my crutch and then I get addicted again.

Also some people are sensitive to it and get a lot of side effects just from a few drinks

Not sure I could ever permanently quit, but I've done some periods of days to a week. Even though I rarely drink coffee within 10 hours of sleeping, my sleep was better with no coffee and definitely felt calmer. Some downside too though.
Yeah Buddyyy! Light weight! Light weight baby!!!!

I've never been one of those people who NEED coffee in their routine... I've gone years without drinking it and regularly go weeks without it
BUT I've always come back to it at some point... It just tastes too good, helps when you're really busy at work, and is pretty cheap as long as you're not Starbzmaxxing
