Do I do it, yes.....because I like good, loud music that you can feel....couldn't give a chit less about what others think. But I will admit I turn it down at lights and in residential areas.
4 door F-150 with 2 Rockford 10's under the rear seat in a ported box with 600 watts going to each....hhnngggg and 1000 watts to the rest of the system.... They're the smallest subs I've had in a vehicle, but SQ is great.

I can't lie, there's been a few times when some clown is sitting at a light next to me blasting ****ty music at full volume with the windows down and I wished I had a brick in the passenger seat.

Not really alpha, but can be a lot of fun when you are a young man.
I haven't heard a legit bass car since I left Texas though. My neighbor had kickers in his car. I had twin turbos though so I got revenge when necessary.
