supposedly that's a video of the agricultural equipment which was stolen by the chechens.

m1: how are you?
m2: we refused to fight, so they're holding us here.
m1: why did you refuse?
m2: because they're sending us to the meat grinder.
m1: yeah?
m2: the only thing over there is the artillery. our guns won't do anything against that.
m1: so what are you doing?
m2: nothing. we're waiting, but they're not letting us leave. they've been given orders to shoot us.

m1: we only have one tank left.
m2: you only have one left?
m1: yes.
m2: so how are you getting around to fight?
m1: by foot. we split up in two groups, and share the tank. we have a few dead, and many more injured.
m2: fuark. how many tanks did you start out with?
m1: we had 10.
m2: so you have nothing to drive on?
m1: nope.
m2: thank god. take the last tank apart and recycling. at least you'll get to live.

You Lust. Over what? Two ****hole countries that have zero to do with us. Russia will have its goal, as they have already achieved the minimum of taking the east. Let's keep pretending Ukraine with US involvement is 1. Necessary 2. Relevant. 3. Not dangerous.

Call names all day. You should be ashamed of yourself as a man and an American if you technically are one.

Pelosi and Schiff were standing tall with Ukraine in their capital. That's you lol.
...still not an American, but it's not surprising you have serious issues trying to assess information laid out in front of you. I don't even know what the fuk a Schiff is and the only thing I know about Pelosi that she's some dem mummy.

Funny how you keep trying to act like you're some kind of authority and talk about acting like a man when you can't even grow a spine and repeatedly slip away after being proven wrong and getting called out for your confabulations. I mean you're doing it right now. Come on, answer any of those questions.

It's also quite hilarious how I called you out for your thinly veiled homolust for big daddy dominating Rusha and how you've been trying to project it ever since. Talk about being actually butthurt.

Last but not least your usual strawman people supporting Ukrainians wanting this to go on. Another flat out lie, but you keep this up. It's been clear as day that the invasion was botched after the first couple of days. Russians should have headed home back then, and they still should, because they do not have a meaningful exit strategy beyond their usual bomb/murder/rape/kidnap/loot shtick.

"Russia will have its goal" - month three and you still haven't elaborated on this one. Just like the Russians, but of course if you don't define a clear military goal you can just pretend that it's the next thing after repeatedly failing to achieve whatever. Russians were already controlling the separatist oblasts and the Ukies weren't too keen on making a move since the last time they did that the Russians crossed the border.

Come back when you have anything of substance besides your "gypsy palm reader" level vagueness.

Macro economic policies take months and years to be realized. Russia's credit rating is selective default and junk status. Russia needs to raise money for military, infrastructure or growth via bonds? Well good luck with that and it takes years to rebuild their rating, which wasn't that great to begin with.

Russia nationalized leased aircraft, effectively stealing from the global industry. A niche industry. Need more passenger jets after the war? Good luck with that. Need jet parts? Sanctions. Unemployment. Brain drain.

Large construction projects, aircraft, shipping etc all require reinsurance. SwissRE, MunichRE, Lloyd's, Marsh, etc. Nope.

We are about two months in, it's like a family using their emergency cash during a crisis. You can survive but very soon you run out of supplies, no jobs and you have no friends. You'll scrap by for a bit until it starts to all fall apart.

--
Russia's industry may be working now but the West is playing the long game.
It's quite interesting to see the outcome of this conflict.
There's of course a possibility that Russia has calculated the sanctions and everything that West has thrown at it. Realistically, who knows what position Russia is in and will be in the next couple of years.
On the flip side, what if it didn't predict the resistance from the Ukrainians and support they received from the West. It is quite worrying seeing the increase in weapon deliveries and all the money given to Ukraine. It could get worse, we could see Russian soldiers dying in thousands, we could see Donbas republics getting pounded and destroyed. We could even see Crimea getting pressed. It doesn't look like US wants to stop and seeing this as an opportunity to weaken Russia.

With that being said, If Russia is indeed suffering that much and US will do it's outmost to further inflict more pain, the big question is what exactly is stopping Russia and especially Putin from escalating this further beyond Ukraine? I don't really see how Putin would just fold and leave Ukraine, potentially even lose Crimea, that is just a big no no.

The way US is able to inflict pain overseas is by brainwashing their general population with a specific narrative, just as we are seeing here or any other war. US are always the ''good guys'' protecting the world from evil. Even now, it's quite easy for them to send money and weaponry into Ukraine. Beyond stock market pain, some higher gas and food prices, most Americans don't know or even care about Ukraine. It's all just foreign stuff. We could easily see the bias in Western news.
Now, if Putin was backed in the corner seeing US humiliate Russia, what would stop him from launching a tactical nuke? Not in Ukraine or a NATO nation but rather somewhere in International waters near US or UK. I don't know if that would technically trigger article 5 or be a declaration of war but rather a show of force. Without going all the way, it would be a huge wake up call for the Western world, and especially regular citizens. It wouldn't be as easy for US or UK to calm the public, there would be riots and uprising on the streets, fear would easily overtake anyone. Even if all the blame falls on Russia, after a few days, citizens would start asking their governments serious questions as to how this could escalate this way, how could we go from where we were a year ago to a potential nuclear war. There would be a peace deal on the table in a week out of fear and pressure from the public.

As unrealistic as this sounds, given the crippling sanctions, heavy involvement of the West in Ukraine and potentially huge losses both militarily and economically to Russia, I don't see how this is out of the question. What could US or UK realistically do besides doing something similar and exploding a tactical nuke somewhere not far from Russia, which would only play in Russia's hand and cause even more outcry in the West. What else is there on the table besides that? There's hardly a sanction we could think besides what has been applied so far.

Even if we entertain the fictional scenario of Putin coming to that decision and not instantly getting suicided by a novichok laced bullet to the back of his head, things would turn out quite differently. If anything, it would ramp up further support for Ukraine all over the globe for one. Two, now every nuclear power on the planet - including obscure little countries like China and India - would become quite pissed at Russia.

If Russia were even remotely serious about its constant "but muh nukes" bullcrap then you can bet that the rest of the world would be ramping up preparations.

So hypothetically speaking, if Russia does escalate and launches a tactical nuke somewhere near UK or US, your first assumption is that these same countries, as well as other Western nations would ramp up their support for Ukraine? How do you logically come up with that conclusion?
A nuclear bomb explodes not far from UK somewhere, fear and panic all over the globe, markets crash, people protesting on the streets by millions. And you think instead of seeking peace and not letting this turn into a full blown WW3, you think US is just going to continue feeding Ukraine with weapons?

Other way around, first you explain why lobbing nukes into the neighbourhood of far superior nuclear powers - with whom you aren't in direct conflict with - could possibly be considered as a valid negotiation tactic. Russia has nothing to gain from it and would risk to lose everything. There are quite a number of reasons why nuclear powers don't start each and every negotiation or whatever with "do as I say or else muh nukes." Main one being that you can call back tanks and troops and call it a day, but there's no redo after you let a missile fly.

It's beyond delusional to think that countries with nukes would react to a nuke popping in their front door by running away and handing over everything to the aggressor. If that's a reasonable and valid tactic - and not full blown insanity -, then why haven't the NATO countries been doing just that ever since the end of WW2?

Also sure, there would be panic, riots whatever, but let's not ignore that in that hypothetical scenario everyone with at least a single working leg or a mobility scooter would instantly bail from Russia, since now they're living in a country that just committed an act of nuclear aggression and their best case scenario would be trying to make a living in a pariah hellhole with zero future prospects and a planet's worth of nukes being pointed at them.

Bottom line is that threatening others with kicking off MAD is not a logical thought.

If things are as bad as some of you say, it doesn't have that much to lose as it stands. Pariah on the international stage, huge and long lasting sanctions. Europe is looking to diversify their investments and energy purchases. US is openly supporting, training, arming Ukraine. And probably running OP's in Ukraine.
A wild card strike would easily take care of some of these issues. It has more to gain than to lose judging by what is happening.

It's not about handing over everything to the aggressor, it's about backing the fuk away from where you shouldn't be in the first place.
And once again, what choice will the US government have if something along these lines would happen? You can't just brush it off when your population is on the streets protesting in millions, especially now with Joe Biden in charge and all the drama that came with him. Your government is going to get absolutely massacred by the public for contributing towards this mess. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when.

But they have already bailed, most of them at least. How would that strike even change anything at this stage? Russia will be isolated for a very long time regardless of it. But the difference is, the pain and panic that would cause would shift the power globally even more, and you never know which way it would go. Russia will be #1 enemy regardless, but who will an average citizen blame after that?

So it would be a retarded move by a cornered idiot, glad we agree on that.

Yes, it would take care of Russia.

Well then Russia can back the fuk away since it shouldn't be in Ukraine in the first place.

Still not American, still not my government. Still an extremely retarded notion to believe that an unprovoked nuclear strike would somehow lead to the population of a global nuclear superpower wanting to hide in a corner and demand that the government pulls out. How did that whole show of force thing work out in Ukraine and for Zelensky's approval that was in the chitter?

Gee I don't know, maybe the country that has been launching repeated unprovoked invasions on its neighbours for decades, invaded Ukraine twice, is in the middle of trying to wipe them off the map, has a proven track record of various atrocities, has been lying about everything - including not launching an invasion - and as a last sperg out even launched a nuke.

Your imaginary scenario where the West bails on the Ukies just because Lavrov keeps crying about muh nukes is just that, a fever dream. Nobody takes Russia's retarded sabre rattling serious.

Russia doubling down on their "muh Jews were tha Nazis all along" sperg out

The Russian Foreign Ministry reacted to the scandal that erupted around Lavrov's statement that Hitler had "Jewish blood" and that "the most ardent anti-Semites, as a rule, are Jews."

The day before, because of this statement by Lavrov, the Israeli Foreign Ministry summoned the Russian ambassador.

"Jews did not destroy themselves during the Holocaust. Accusing Jews of anti-Semitism is a blatant level of racism against Jews," Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid said.

The Russian Foreign Ministry published on Tuesdaya statement in which they called this statement by Lapid " anti-historical " and "largely explains the course of the current Israeli government to support the neo-Nazi regime in Kiev" .

I agree with you.

I don't think Russia calculated the sanctions in the beginning or the amount of aid; I don't thinkanybodycalculated that in from the beginning and I don't think the USA plans to stop their escalation.

I also don't think Russia plans to stop.
I think the only thing stopping Russia from expanding beyond Ukraine into Moldova and Georgia would be Ukraine launching attacks into Russia.

Other than that, I think Russia will be going to Moldova and Georgia whether they win in Ukraine or not.

I amhopefulthat Russia sees the long-term negative effects of their aggression and backs off this month. I don't see it happening either, but in my opinion it's their best play.
I agree.
I think people underestimate the use of a nuclear weapons, not the destruction aspect but the psychological aspect. The world would stop, and I mean literally stop.

Citizens would not be asking their government about fear and "how did this happen", they would be telling their governments to stop this madman immediately with full scale invasions on a worldwide level. The human population is more about fighting to survive rather than hiding to survive. Humans get angry and no peace deal would exist where the Russian government would be alive.
I don't think anybody will be using nuclear weapons in this conflict.

The Nazi talk is some of my favorite; it is so transparent that even a low information person can see through it as any sort of justification.

Maybe it works in Russia, but even Jimmy from down the street would call BS on that and know Russia is the aggressor.

Russia should have made up a new name for Nazi's for a year or two before the war. They tried to propaganda the Azov name but the problem with that is Azov is a geographic location, so it limits thought to a small portion of Ukraine. Russia should have tried to equate Sunflowers or something to Nazis.
