There must be one. Like just one thing that gets you going a little bit more than everything else.

In terms of wagie/rat race jobs theres very few things im passionate about. Only thing I’ve ever found im passionate about is music tbh, I’d love to be a songwriter/producer

My job has NEVER been my passion, more just something to earn enough money to live. Not everyone can live their dream and do something they truly love.

My job right now is just doing NOTHING. No work coming in. I have to appear to be logged on and can't go anywhere during the work day, but other than that I am just miscing, painting, reading. My off days aren't that different to my "work" days.

That's a big no for me Dawg. The only people's health I truly care about is my own and my family's. And that's how most normal people are. I didn't really think about the fact that i would be around sick people all day, just saw my parents make money and decided i wanted to also.

It doesn't really matter whether I literally saved a life or put someone in a bodybag, at the end of the day it's just a job I hate. But although I have no passion for it, people's lives depend on things being done correctly so I take it very seriously.

I do get a large amount of professional and personal satisfaction from my job, but that is because I have developed a mindset that facilitates it. I do it on purpose. No matter what job I have, I will feel that way.

However, I am in a position to have options when it comes to work.

Nothing will ever compare to flying though.

I'm quite passionate about my profession and worked hard to get here but my main passions lie outside the professional sphere and I'm in a place both lifestyle-wise and financially where I get to double down on these passions properly. Would not trade that for anything else in the world. It's an amazing feeling.

Never had a passion when it came to work thus I took a path and climbed the ladder. I was always good with computers and high IQ so it's worked out great. No other career I'd rather do because I never wanted one to begin with but I make great money to do the sht I want to do outside of work. Always LOL at questions like "where do you see yourself in 5 years?" because I don't give a fuk and never had an actual plan. Just went with the flow and capitalized. I only spend about 36 hours over 4 days out of the 168 hours in the week so I've got it good

Regardless of the context of the job, “climbing the ladder”, exhibiting high levels of competence, simply being a valuable asset to whatever organization you work for can become the primary focus and that can generate a type of passion.


Literally the hustle becomes the passion.

In this attempt to identify what I am truly capable of, determining the full extent of my nature, I have found a form of purpose that is satisfying. To me, it has become addicting.

Something along the lines of “Just gaslight yourself and be convinced it is enjoyable.”

It does work for me.
