Was the Supreme Court "leak" designed to help Democrats?
I'm not talking about the indian cuck who leaked it - I mean from it's conception. Did the Bush-loving "Conservatives" see the Democrats being utterly steamrolled and do this solely to rile up the left's base and help them out in November?
IMO, I don't think they honestly care about this issue and I think most of them belong to the uniparty. It would not surprise me if they did this solely to help out establishment candidates and the Democrats in particular.
The timing of this just seems so suspect. Why now? If they honeslty wanted this, why did they wait until this moment to make noise about doing something? Then the unpredicented leak and the immediate *scripted-and-coordinated* response from the left politicians?
Some of you are too excited about this being overturned (because unlike GOP politicians - you actually care) or "owning the libs" that I think maybe you might have missed all the weirdness about this.

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

I think so. Biden and the Democrats are in the worst midterm position in history. They’re on track to get slaughtered in November. Not much can be done to galvanize the left wing base, but abortion issues are the big one that can. You threaten Roe v. Wade, you just got an extra 5 million pink haired libs who otherwise would’ve stayed home to turn out for the Democratic Party.

It was designed to create outrage and pressure so the judges back down and reverse their ruling

Reminds me fondly of the 2020 election, when a certain someone did great work in abolishing voter apathy then got his orange ass hauled out.
A timely reminder, though, to not lose the forest for the trees:
The major point of the affair is that it deals a major blow to the image of SCOTUS. It will sow distrust amongst the justices and damage the court's reputation.
The SCOTUS is meant to be the exemplar and the image of a non-partisan institution. This isn't a stand-alone issue but an exclamation point to a long pedigree of tarnishing. There was Merrick Garland's nomination obstruction; then the pushing through of contentious nominations and rushed appointees moments before the national election.
Then in 2001, conservative judges stopped the democratic process when they allowed the brother of a conservative candidate to determine the outcome of a national election.
So see, it's not exactly a standalone issue. There are decades of partisanship behind the court, but it's just increased in its blatantness to the point where it's threatening to implode. The image of SCOTUS is meant to be a scholarly repository of legal genius, not something nakedly partisan. It is meant to be an impartial tool of justice, not a biased political cudgel the far-right uses to mould a theocratic agenda.
The anti-voice brigade are squealing, but they're too blinkered by a theocratic wet dream to understand they'll all be inevitably impacted by the implications of Roe v Wade.

It's a meat and potatoes issue.
If you look at the other broad issues: crime, the economy etc the DNC is on the back foot and all the things they are expending political capital on are fringe issues (alphabet people, tuition etc), in that they appeal to a minority of their base.
The only issue with widespread appeal across their voter base, that they aren't fked on (like crime, the economy) etc is abortion.
From now until midterms it will be "look here, shiny shiny" on abortion, to keep the moderates, the cat ladies and the blue haired brigade all looking in the same direction.
The compliant, some would say complicit, media will faithfullly provide wall to wall coverage for the next six months and just not cover any of the multitude of issues on which the left are losing.
Abortion is this season's george floyd and to be seen to be against it makes you heartless, bigoted yadda yadda

A Term of the Supreme Court begins, by statute, on the first Monday in October. Usually Court sessions continue until late June or early July. The Term is divided between "sittings," when the Justices hear cases and deliver opinions, and intervening "recesses," when they consider the business before the Court and write opinions. Sittings and recesses alternate at approximately two-week intervals.
The Court maintains this schedule each Term until all cases ready for submission have been heard and decided. In May and June the Court sits only to announce orders and opinions. The Court recesses at the end of June, but the work of the Justices is unceasing. During the summer they continue to analyze new petitions for review, consider motions and applications, and must make preparations for cases scheduled for fall argument.

Not just designed, but coordinated. What are the two ultra-radical and destructive ideas that Democrats have been pushing?
1. End the filibuster.
2. Court packing.
What are the two things all the major Democrats are pushing for since this was leaked?

I am still holding on to my theory of no matter what happens, Democrats will never again give up the control and power they gained in 2020/2021.
Whatever it takes, they will make sure it stays.
Call me as negative as you want, but you can't deny they saw what COVID gave them and you'd be dumb to think they won't want to keep that authoritarian control forever.

I think it will back fire as people simply dont care anymore.
Notice how it was a huge issue like 2 days ago and now just a blip. Not even on the front page of the misc anymore.
People are sick of being forced to care about issues we really dont care about. We have seen the man behind the curtain, you cant unsee it but they want to insist he is still there.

I don't think the leak was planned or designed in any way, just a crime of opportunity and a consequence of the festering issue.
My personal feeling is to leave it to the states and then never speak about it again on a national level.
The country could use 50 Desantis style governors to each stand up in their own way and tell the feds to fuk off, we'll make our rules thank you very much.

I think it's a distraction from Russia. People have to realize that republicans and democrats are all in one party. They all serve one common goal, and that is to make themselves rich, at the expense of us. That's why they play bad cop, good cop, to fool the stupid people into voting for the "good guy."

"At the core of liberalism is the spoiled child - miserable, as all spoiled children are, unsatisfied,
demanding, ill-disciplined, despotic and useless. Liberalism is a philosophy of sniveling brats."

I have been thinking so. It's a common move by Democrats, promoting fear. It might work. Hard to say how this will all turn out. Abortion is still available ( not sure what the end ruling will be from the Supreme court. Some states though place greater restrictions on abortion. I remember seeing a poll on that, with a mention that most Americans are in favor of abortion restrictions.
My suspicion ts that more Americans are concerned over high inflation, high crime levels, CRT and woke schools, lousy schools, the open border and the many problems that creates,
