Best fitting T-shirts for bros who lift?

I really hate to toot my own horn but I'm pretty well built with broad shoulders, a big chest, big arms, and a flat stomach with a 34" waist. The problem is most T-shirts are either too tight in the shoulders/arms or too loose in the stomach. Are there any good brands which are known for fitting brahs like me? I'm not interested in any expensive brands though, that overpriced stuff is for chumps and try-hards, I just want a basic affordable t-shirt that fits well.

Uhh not sure what is “expensive” for you. Interesting you have these specifications but want something tailored to your build. I like cuts shirts, but they’re a bit tight on the arms. Could size up. I think buck mason has decent t shirts as well. You could always just buy some cheap larger shirts and get them tailored…

I'm a big ass dude, shoulders wide as a doorway. 6' 240lb 18%bf 36" waist

Fresh Clean Tees and it's not even close. This coming from a guy that's tried them all. Literally one day spent like $300 getting different shirts from different manufacturers shipped to mi casa just to lock in the best shirt.

My ranking:

1. Fresh Clean Tees - perfect fit, period. Sleeves show off the guns but not so much that you look like a tool. Perfect shirt all around...own 25+ shirts different colors. Still wear shirts I bought 3 years ago and they look brand new.

2. True Classic - similar fabric to Fresh Clean but the size is a bit smaller. After a couple washes the shoulders are too tight and sleeves get too short so you look like a ph4ggot.

3. Next Level Apparel - shoulders and sleeves are great on arrival but after a couple washes it shrinks like crazy. Waist is too big on these shirts.

I have a few from True Classic. Agree with your points, good fit at first but then they shrink a bit. Still like em though and a good price. Their sweatshirts are good too.

I don't know if the peasants in misc can afford it but all my t shirts are from sunspell > the british clothing companies are way better compared to the crap that the american ones sells us. Best fitting t shirt is sunspell by far. It is costly close to 90 dollars a t shirt and i have 16 of them !

Came in to suggest true classic. I don't have many of the problems people are describing though because I have a small build.

If that doesn't work out I just suggest getting something that fits your chest/shoulders/length the best and have a tailor take in the waist however much you want.

I recently bought a crew neck from both Fresh Clean and True Classic.

Can confirm that True Classic is a tighter fit and shorter sleeve. The Fresh Clean did shrink a tiny bit even after using cold to wash and extra low temp to dry (should have hang dry) but still fits ok. Imagine if I kept the True Classic and it shrunk? Would look like a **** or try hard. I returned the True Classic at a FedEx Office and got my money back.

I was about to pull the trigger on True Classic few days ago, the good thing about their site is that they show models of all type of build wearing them; so you can compare to your body type.

I second this. Fresh Clean and True Classic are very solid. I also really like Young LA t-shirts because they are longer than most and shirt length is always an issue for me. Under Armour seems to be hit or miss. I have some that fit great, some that don't. Nike is pure trash.

Soffee medium black cotton polyester blend always did it for me.


Recently I found some good underarmor and hanes, all medium. Good fit.

I also tried the Goodfellows from target. They have a t-shirt called "perfect fit", the fit was almost the same as a True Classic. Its cheap (around 6$) but I prefer a more relaxed fit so I went with the Fresh Clean.

I can't find any either i'm 6'2 216 and all shirts are too short at the bottom or fit weird around the chest like they are made for twinks

Goodfellows shirts only fit me when i'm less than 208 lbs

edit idk sometimes the medium goodfellows fit pretty good it just depends on the day and my hydration levels i think lol.

Washing a fresh clean does give it a slight shrink but that's a benefit for me. I buy an XL and my preferred fit is after 3-4 washes then it remains that size for life.

The maroon/blue heather shirts don't shrink at all unless you specifically try to shrink it. I hot wash/hot dry a couple times for perfect fit.
