For me it has to be a headlamp. Use that thing on the regular, walking dogs early in the morning, doing **** outside, in the attic, under the cars, etc. Both hands free to work instead of fumbling around with a flashlight and what not.

Well food... but I assume you mean more materialistic purchases.

All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

This Fiskars weed puller is an absolute game changer for managing weeds on your property. No more working on your knees pulling weeds by hand, being frustrated that you weren’t able to pull the entire root out, etc.
I’m amazed at how well this thing works. Removing weeds is effortless with this tool and it dramatically increases the speed at which you can pull them.
I’ll never pull weeds the old fashioned way again.

How does this one work? The tines seem too far apart for small roots.

I have that Fiskars weed puller and really like it. Great for dandelions and crab grass. Think I might leave the dandelions alone this year though. They are pretty and my kids like them so my neighbors can just talk behind my back about it if they want.
To answer the OP: lately the only useful thing I bought was some more bungee cords and some paracord.
I'm not a "paracord guy", but I'm going to start using it more for various things. Recently I got rid of some keyrings and replaced them with paracord as the actual ring (i.e. not a keychain holder).
My main keyring was getting stretched somehow and a key fell off. I'll keep my vehicle one on a separate loop to loop through my main one so I can detach it for vehicle service.

Apple Smart Watch SE 40mm (pls don't hate)
I'm tracking my sleep and trying to get more hours. Interesting to see the time in bed vs actual sleep and gaps (interruptions).
I have it set to remind me to stand from my seat every 30 minutes.
I love being able to quickly change song/album/playlist without taking my phone out or if its connected to speakers system with a wire. This is most useful when im in the gym. I keep my phone in the bag and dont like having it in my pocket especially when doing dead-lifts, bb rows, bench press etc. Sometimes need to change to a more intense song.
Also have important work calls and texts that I need to be on top of in case my phone is not in my pocket or don't feel it/see it. I like keeping things in silent.
Calendar/Meeting reminders, these are helpful if I'm not at my desk or don't have the phone in my pocket.

Got one of those weeders last year and it was definitely a game changer. Also a tall tool for getting stuff out of cracks so you don't have to bend down.
Most useful thing I just got recently was an adjustable strainer for my sink, adjusts to any length/width:

I’ve purchased quite a few hoses that look like they’d be good, but end up sucking after a season or two of light/medium use.
I need some new ones and 75’ is perfect for my needs.

I can’t see how someone would think the Fiskars tool makes things more difficult. It’s super easy, and very idiot proof. Makes me think that you were using something different.
Just position the tines over the center of the weed, plunge it down into the ground, then rock the tool back on that little foot that’s sticking out. Pulls the entire weed and root out with ease.
Then slide the orange collar forward to shoot the weed off the tool into a bucket or whatever.

Time will tell but I ditched my 14 year old push mower for a battery powered push mower. I was tired of dealing with cleaning carbs and backfiring and sht. Only gripe so far is that there's a mounting bracket for the blade that seems to take up about 1/3 of the diameter causing an uneven cut. But with heavy tree cover in my yard, I only have a few sections of thick grass to worry about.
