Rate my Friday evening cocktail /10

Gettin it hot out so keeping it simple

2 oz Japanese whisky
Soda water
Lime expression

Look refreshing and clean. Most of the Japanese whisky’s I’ve had were pretty good.

How would you describe Japanese whiskey? I love bourbon but don't like scotch or Irish whiskey

From my experience japanese whisky is milder in flavor profiles, easy drinking, they really open up with a bit of ice or water. I would say they are close to a nice scotch with a lighter mouthfeel. I need to buy some higher end japanese, apparently they are incredible.

This one is very mild, light alcohol on palate, lots of honey, bit of citrus and almost silky mouthfeel.
