Just FYI for those who have never been addicted to a drug, especially one like meth:

It's like having oneitis except 10x stronger. You would literally do almost anything to use.

I can't help but think that bodybuilders of the 70s and 80s were healthier both physically and mentally than the builders of today.

Rich Gaspari still lifts and looks good. Gary Strydom still jacked in his 60s. Lou Ferrigno still in reasonable shape. Franco C only died a few years back at 78. Frank Zane still alive and well. Lee Haney still in fairly good shape. Tom Platz still has huge legs and lifts in his mid 60s.

The game is just way unhealthier now. Guys pumping mad chit into their bodies and going crazy.

A lot of these guys can't deal with the insane scrutiny of being social media stars. Add to that the massive amounts of PEDS they're on and their brain chemistry gets rektd.

Not everybody is built for being in the limelight.
There is but one path....we kill them all.

Didn't know of this guy but this thread has got me doing detective work.

His About info in ******** shows 'Places lived' as Manila, Subic Bay, Philippines. This makes sense given his name - the dude is Filipino.

During his gym period he was living in Melbourne Australia. There's pictures of him in Melbourne, training at Banana Alley vaults gym (presently Doherty's) and his Aaron Curtis film is shot in Melbourne and the aforementioned gym. Also Calum is from near Melbourne (Geelong), so that's how they got together.

He goes to Syria and disappears around 2017 - or does he? Maybe he just stopped using ******** then.

He has a Soundcloud account which has playlists tagged as "2 years ago", which would make him active around 2019/2020 - if that's what 2 years ago means.

https://soundcloud.com/miguel-valenzuela-570570639/sets

And yes it's definitely his account...

There's this which describes his trip to Syria and was published April 2018 and calls him American born and mentions the Melbourne link

BTW Googling on his name brings us to this Instagram account

Not everybody is built for being in the limelight.
It's not just the stress of the limelight. Once one starts becoming rich and famous, the invitations to the real parties begins and after that, it's hard to quit. Drugs take down so many people. Smart enough never to have participated in that vice but know a few people who had everything ended up with addictions and ruined their lives. It's sad man.

There was an “off season” for their usage in the 60’s and 70’s. Arnold who was the biggest star of them all back then was not shy in the slightest about being off, and even having pictures of himself while off. Usage to them revolved around contests, and photos for mags happened close to contest time.

Guys today need to post 24/7 on insta to stay relevant. Is it really such a surprise that drug addicted guys who are obsessed with how they look, and equally obsessed with getting people to see how they look, would fall off the deep end…either mentally or physically? The endeavour they are chasing requires them to live on that edge.

If you're whole success is based on your body then you are doomed to fail. Omar now is on the history Channel, Max C has Ever forward and Sour Strips, Guzman has the whole Alpha land/lete. Their image is fitness related but their whole success is not on their physique. The fitness industry is trash right now all about Tik Tokers and viewer count. Nobody really cares as much about making good content.

A fellow bodybuilder has fallen on bad times, must have been going through some hard stuff to turn to meth. And everyone starts ripping in to him. Not a fan of his, but it's just sad how people kick someone when their down. it takes hard work to have empathy

Generally speaking Bodybuilders are about the last people on earth to expect empathy from lol. Maybe above politicians and that's about it
