Not to mention the tons of Russians who aren't exactly keen on dying for some retarded arbitrary special military operation.

I liked our strategy so far, where Ukrainians have to defend their own land, which they have and proven themselves to care about their own country. I think with all of the West's support, we could create a great long lasting allyship in the Ukrainian people by helping them put an end to this now.

EDIT
Look at this way, let's say the US invaded Mexico, levelled Mexican cities and began annexing the country. It's highly likely that Mexicans in the US would attack soft targets as a means of protest.

Russian officials visited occupied town of Kherson and vowed that Russia will never leave it. They are either going to make a puppet Ukrainian regime or (most likely) they are going to annex every Ukrainian territory that they took.
That has got to suck so bad for ethnic Ukrainians. Seeing your homeland just get erased and having your flag replaced by the Russian one.
Would rather die fighting than live under some poverty oligarchy.

Shame Ukraine didn't have a few A10s to fly over the 60km Russian traffic jam early in the war.

But don't get the rest of the US involved.
Also, make sure you state that you are of British decent, not American decent. Because the US doesn't recognize you as a citizen if you choose to do something as stupid as representing the US fighting against the Russians.
Yea, you're pretty dumb now that you think about it huh.

Prior to this kicking off, there were buildup and talks as preventative measure so there was no war in Ukraine, by promising that we would do things to Russia's anus it could not even conceive of. Since that didn't work, we're in the cure phase by galvanising the Western world against a dictatorial sociopath.
The US has had a historical interest in expanding its influence in areas of Europe before this anyway. Through multiple initiatives like setting up democracy, establishing NATO defence systems etc. and mogging a major world power already in decline helps the US' position on the world stage after Trump made it a laughing stock.
US has been involved with squabbles in other countries since time immemorial. Not a new thing by any means.
Back off, Warchild.

"The RSOTM ******** channel run by Wagner private military contractors currently in Ukraine said that either “there will be a mobilization or we will lose the war.” They think they need 600-800k people to defeat Ukraine."
https://t.me/grey_zone/13960
So here's the deal: I'm not interested in what Volodin said at all. There will be mobilization or we will lose the war. It takes 600-800 thousand people to defeat Urkaine.
Whoever says that you don't need a lot of men in a modern war is just being silly. No matter how high-precision weapons, only infantry goes first.

Ukrainian army liberated Oleksandrivka, Fedorivka, Ukrainka, Shestakove, Peremoha and part of the village of Cherkaski Tyshky in the Kharkiv region - the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Same story, Russian ********:
The Ukrainian Armed Forces' offensive in northern Kharkiv: Situation as of 19:00 on 6 May 2022
▪️After the withdrawal of Russian Armed Forces units from Stary Saltov, the withdrawal of troops from the northeastern outskirts of Kharkiv was, alas, a matter of time. After AFU DRGs blew up the bridge over the Murom River between Russkiye Tishki and Cherkasskiye Tishki, the threat of encirclement became evident.
▪️In order to prevent the Russian Armed Forces from being locked in the cauldron, the command decided to withdraw Russian units from Tsirkun, Cherkasskiye Tishki, and Liptsy.
▪️The forward units of the AFU entered Liptsy this morning. At that time, the RF Armed Forces were no longer in the settlement: the units had withdrawn to the north. In fact, the Russian Armed Forces now control a 7-8-kilometer buffer zone north of Kharkiv.
▪️ A cleanup is underway in Tsirkuny. Ukrainian units are opening basements, checking phones of local residents, and looking for agents and informants of the Russian troops.
https://t.me/rybar/32276

Another day, another ship (this time a small landing one) Bayraktar'd. Location is once again Snake Island, looks like it was carrying replacements for the Tor surface to air missile the Ukrainians have previously destroyed.
New Ukrainian Bayraktar TB2 strikes footage was just released.
The Russian Navy vessel that was destroyed seems to be Serna-class landing craft, per @kemal_115

Italy has ordered the seizure of a $700m yacht linked to Russia's President Vladimir Putin.
The Scheherazade has been undergoing repairs at a port in Tuscany since September last year. Italy's finance ministry said that the boat's owner had ties to "prominent elements of the Russian government".
It is being seized under EU sanctions brought over Russia's invasion of Ukraine that have seen other vessels confiscated. The exact owner of the Scheherazade has not been established but US officials told the New York Times it could belong to Russia's president.
Supporters of the Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny have also linked the 140m vessel to President Putin. Other reports suggest that the yacht, which has two helicopter landing pads and a swimming pool inside, is owned by Eduard Khudainatov, the former chief of Russian energy giant Rosneft who is not currently a target of EU sanctions.
