true they dont do anything for me anymore

i try to like them

i loved them growing up. snes, ps1

cant really get into them like i used to. never finish anything. get bored real quick.

The Ascent was a bug filled mess for me. Did they ever even bother to fix it?
I played it on the Series X and the only bug I encountered was that any of the cosmetic shirts I would pick up from the store wouldn't be there after restarting the game. Even the shirt I had equipped wouldn't technically be in my inventory. I'd imagine they fixed it, but I didn't experience many of them, most frustrating for me was that there wasn't any clear zone delineation so you'd go from fighting level 10 dudes to fighting level 30 dudes while running down the same street and just get rekt outta nowhere.

I don’t think Jay has ever admitted he was wrong about anything, even when presented with tons of evidence. I still remember him arguing with me about ps2 vs GameCube graphics.

I was literally in awe in regards to his stubbornness. It was like arguing with a child who’s ego won’t let him change his mind

The result of trying to have a discussion with a proudly self professed "contrarian gamer". His whole shtick is to complain about everything and everyone, while portraying himself to be some kind of last dying elite breed gamer that apparently went through the golden age of gaming and now has nothing that interests him lmfao.

It’s mostly been a breeze.

I’m on World 6:1 and suddenly now it gets hard. Up until the final stage it hasn’t been nearly as challenging as SMO (Which I gave up on) or DKCTF.

think it's just getting older OP, as you get older every game you play you break it down it it's mechanics and then realize the game expects you do to the same gameplay loop 10000x times. So you quit and just go misc for a bit before looking for a new game to play

I think that's why a lot of indie games that try to be just like (insert classic video game here) wind up being so boring. You've literally played them before and they were better the first time when it was original.
