bivol's guard was too tight, saw with in the first minute that the shots just werent there for canelo, he protected the body way better than i expected, i thought with canelo's manlet height he could get in low to the body but he was blocking them and head shots. controlled the distance well too. so he was the fresher fighter in the late rounds with canelo tired but he didnt have that work to the body like he did with all these other guys lately.

i watched some bivol fights and saw that this guy is pretty quick, it would be a harder fight than kovalev and all the 168 pound fighters

Bicol isn’t pillowfisted Caleb Plant. Canelo looked slow. Don’t think he belongs in that weight class. Needs to go back down. The judges were on crack no way Canelo won more than 3 rds

bivol is way more skilled than plant, way tighter defense. canelo was ripping plant to the body and he had faster hands than all those guys at 168, bivols speed with his reach and defense is just too damn much. plus his chin is good, he ate shots from smith who is a full size light heavy big puncher, canelo cant hurt him with the few that got through

cant even get on my boxing site, crashed their server. havent seen that in a long time. servers used to crash for the biggest fights. people losing their minds canelo lost for the first time in 9 years. i wanted to see him win kind of bummed but i like bivol, i think bivol can beat beterbiev.

Great win for the Russian chad. Makes me wonder how the Beterbiev fight would pan out. Obv there will be a rematch, but it looks like Canelo has gone up too far at light heavy. There is a big difference between a prime Champ like Bivol and a washed up Kovalev.
