Dumbbell or barbell incline ?

Which is better for aesthetics ?

I think dumbbells but they’re more effort imo.

Yeah I just hate having to yank the dumbbells up from the ground when sitting on bench. Like the feel of dumbbell way more tho

I switched to dumbells years ago because a girl pointed out my right side was bigger than my left. I had been using barbells for chest and that is going to favor one arm over the other.

Also, I observed that many people when barbell benching people will bring the bar down to their neck. That movement almost using no chest muscles but more shoulder. Meanwhile. if you dumbbells and position them over the end of your sternum all of the pec muscles come into play and you will develop the center of your chest.

Dumbbells are superior for all exercises in my experience.

With my old rotators,I have no choice but to do incline with dumbbells. I use power hooks to hold them on a steel bar I bought , as I find the heavier dumbbells are hard on the rotators also .
I removed the Velcro and have no issues using them with the small bar that’s left

As for aesthetics ,I can’t see why you can’t obtain that with either. I knew a guy years ago who strictly used dumbbells for upper body , and he certainly had good proportions
