Albanian tried stealing my watch right off of my wrist there. I've been there 4 times and each time the amount of african migrants selling fake Gucci handbags that run away at the sight of cops grows bigger. Sad state of affairs.

Controversial but I preferred Madrid.

I’ll probably retire in Spain if Portugal.

America can't have cities like that because it's required by law to have massive parking lots everywhere. Notice how Americans dream of going to walkable cities in Europe while not asking the question why can't we build cities like that in our own country.

My Top 5:

1. Lisbon (East Lisbon - aka Expo98/Parque das Nações is, by far, my favourite place in the Iberian Peninsula - talking about big cities only)
2. Madrid
3. Barcelona
4. Porto
5. Valencia

Love Valencia. The beaches were nice and the paella was delicious. Also a lot cheaper than Madrid...even though Spain in general seems a lot cheaper than the rest of Western Europe.

I believe Portugal is the cheapest Western European country. But I'm not sure.

But yes, Valencia is a great city. Probably better than Porto tbh. Porto has a problem... it is small and it is extremely dense. You can see everything in 2 or 3 days easily.

oh, btw, my top 5 was "Iberian" only.

If we talking about all the European Cities I would add a few like Rome, Budapest, Paris...probably London.

But I live in one of these.
