Marco’s Pizza (pics)

A few weeks ago, I noticed that a new pizza joint opened up in the neighborhood called Marco’s. I’ve never heard of it anywhere until I’ve noticed some commercials on TV recently. As I pretty much eat any pizza out there and Frank Pepe’s is still #1, I gave it a shot. If Marco’s is supposed to be one of those joints like Pizza Hut and Domino’s then it’s their game to lose. Really delicious, IMO. Good sauce and dough.

Marco's was started in Toledo Ohio by Pat Giamarco.....I used to do their photography back in the 90's....

out of all the big chains marcos is the highest quality. papa johns, pizza hut, and dominoes have gone to complete chit. papa johns use to be very high quality but it's just so bad now.

Can confirm. One of my old roommates brought some home once and offered me a couple slices. I was honestly blown away, it was really good (for being a "budget pizza chain").

Call me a psychopath or whatever, but pizza has always just been pizza to me (same w/ burgers).

Sure, there are good ones and bad ones, but I never really cared where the pizza came from, I just ate it and that was essentially it.

Even pizza in NY was meh considering I can't even remember whether I liked it or not.

Marco's is a chain out of Toledo. They've had it in my city for a long time, and it used to be really fuking good. I ordered it a few months ago for the first time in years, and it was kinda crappy, but it was a new store in my area and honestly there was some midget black guy making pizzas and running the cash register and doing everything, so I bet it wasn't the best representation.

Yep, 100%. I don't even eat pizza much due to cutting, but my regular cheat meal is 4 slices from Jet's. Always makes me so fuking happy. Best sauce and cheese flavor. So satisfying.

i love jets. there's only 2 in my area and each are 30-45 mins away. i try to pick up a couple slices when i'm in the area
