Hold on so an indian guy who pretends to be black on a dying gay indian bodybuilding forum and is obsessed with lebron james is actually guiding my plane in? I already hated flying but at least assumed they hired some pretty good people to handle it. Going to invest in an RV.

I believe studies say that after 56 (mandatory retirement age) there's so much diminishing of your brain that they don't want you.. So they want to get at minimum of 25 years of service in you before you're done

idk.. if you're deciding on college or not, i think an apprenticeship in a trade is a no brainer

#1. i think they have programs (granted you may have to be journeyman or something) that pay for school. beyond the school you take. like at a university

https://www.ibewfreecollege.org/

#2. the credits you earn in the apprenticeship can turn around and be used in school

#3. for electrical i learned they teach you instrumentation (which is another facet of electrical). i believe they're doing charging stations for electric cars now too. i also think this would apply to solar

not even going into the benefits and pensions

i mean really.. the real bonus of trade over college is being 18 and getting a head start. but still... all of that will come out of the unions pocket as opposed to going into debt for a degree. it kinda boggles my mind how much more degrees are marketed compared to apprenticeships

an apprenticeship seems much, much smarter. if you're able to do that young, you're gonna be much better off

plus there are many branches off of that. real estate, managerial construction chit, engineering, instrumentation, architecture prob isn't worth it but stuff in that range too

ATC is prob a pretty good choice too. i just bet a trade is more in demand and would be easier to find work

150k is about what you get at an 11 or 12 level center when you're done with training and certify. Stay in for 10 years and you can clear 200k fairly "easily" and sometimes depending on the facility (and how much you hate your life) can get to 250k

Also at Microsoft. Might as well see a thread from a finance major and post a job in IB at Goldman Sachs saying look at how much you’ll make!

Got an interview for this position for some Canadian Organization, but I heard this role can be very stressful. I'm already liking my current data science role though.

Insider info as far as the specific dates, and confirmed on some of the private ATC/aviation groups.. but as far as actual press release, probably not for a few more weeks. Tell him to get his resume uploaded on that USAJobs resume builder

The HUGE flaw in this post is you didn't mention the hours. Aren't a lot of tech folks working over 60 weeks? I know H1B1s are forced to do so in fear of getting fired.

I heard this is one of the most stressful jobs you can have where people usually can't have a long career on it.
