Curiosity Rover with a panorama of Mars. It's taken next to where they believe a lake previously was. They've been in the process of gathering evidence there to send it back to Earth to analyze if there is anything in regards evidence of life.

the pic of those oldcels doesnt help their testimony. They should be dead with cancer having supposedly passed the van allen radiation belts not once, but TWICE. Which has radiation equivalent to kill you 1000x over. Just lolA piece of Mars, and a piece of the moon

Venus has always fascinated me. It's considered the Earth's sister planet and has a lot in common with earth. Some believe that the Earth was at one time a lot like Venus. Much of the reasons earth is the way it is is because of life on earth causing climate change. Holy crap, it's 600-900*F, 1800psi pressure, winds like a constant hurricane/tornado, raining sulfuric acid.... litterally hell.

meanwhile camera footage at the time would have been destroyed within 30 seconds of an airport xray machine

Love this thread. Geeked out big time over New Horizons approach to Pluto, the great conjunction at the end of 2020, and what's to come with the James Webb telescope

These are test images fyi. It should be almost done with their checks I believe and are fully alligned
‘Fully aligned’ means that Webb’s mirrors are now directing fully focused light collected from space down into each instrument. Each instrument is also successfully capturing images with the light being delivered to them.

Juno Probe mission and photos. which capture Jupiter.. some of the storms on this planet are the size of countries, and sometimes the size of the Earth itself.

On November 12, 1833, there was a meteor shower so intense that it was possible to see up to 100,000 meteors crossing the sky every hour. At the time, many thought it was the end of the world, so much so that it inspired this woodcut by Adolf Vollmy.

How can space be real if we're not real?
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

TheAlderian has already debunked this, he has studied pyschology for 20 years and wrote books that you can buy on amazon.
the sky is just a big blanket with holes in it, if you try to fly out of it your propellors or jet engines get blown up by the blankets fibers

It's pretty sad when you realize that we have a solar system filled with rock balls and nothing worth anything about any of them.
If humans go to Mars, they will step out into a radiation blasted desert with nothing worth talking about.
If we had some kind of communist system where things cost next to nothing to produce maybe a science project like that could be done for fun. But in the current model, it's a total waste of money.
The probes have been worth it to prove it's a total waste.
Back in ancient times, explorers would find plants, minerals, spices, etc that made the trip worth it. From what we have seen so far, it's all about getting a picture of some ice ball desert or rock desert.
It's sad.
