I've taken reports from victims for 15 years, I get it, but at some point you have to be reasonable and calm down a little. He wasn't 'targeted' I'm sure. They didn't want this, they just wanted to take the report and move on. He caused a scene and got a lot of bad attention. If they let him go and he shoots someone, hurts someone, hurts himself, gets beat up, they will get a complaint, trust me I've had this very thing happen. Then you're in internal affairs answering questions that are complete bullshyt b/c you allowed a sober person to take them home. You just can't trust anyone. Especially if he was making loud threats and other people heard it.

No one wants to take a minigun to a blm protest more than me, don't get me wrong here. The officers just get stuck in situations sometimes.

I think it was the UK or Germany that some guy's house got robbed and the criminal while they were putting him in the car he said the homeowner called him racial slurs and they let him go and arrested the victim or something like that. Can't find a source so can't confrim. However, it's where things are going in the west. Very dangerous when the law starts to protect the criminals and penalize the law abiding. Eventually there is no benefit to being honest. That is the thing that groups like BLM, Antifa, and the defund crowd doesn't understand. They assume that they will be able to do whatever they want and everyone else will stay the course and continue being honest law abiding citizens. Most people who are law abiding and use the legal system have some faith in it. When they lose all faith that's when the games begine.
