US dollar is equal to like 5-10 dollars in most latin countries. take whatever youre making now and multiply it by 5 and thats basically how rich you are in just most countires(its 3.5 for peru). you can use your credit card everywhere too so you dont really need to walk around with a bunch of cash unless you buy souvenirs or stuff from street vendors.

Imagine you have to worry about the amount of money you spend on your vacation
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Lol.............at this thread.
I am actually replying right now while taking a **** in an amazing cottage house in the mountains of guatemala ....20 mins from Antigua. It's located on 10 acres of avocado and lemon plantation. Surrounded by 3 Volcanos. Super quiet and beautiful.
BRB wife is Guatemalan and Colombian.
BRB left the US almost a year ago, so happy I was open minded enough to do it. BRB wondering how I could still be 9-5ing...sitting in NYC traffic surrounded by drones/zombies.
OP is 100% correct, quality of life is 5x better in most of the world outside of US. If you have traveled a lot you would know this. South and Central American are nice as well.
Basically if you are doing anything in US but working remote, you are doing it wrong. American salary is goat but quality of life is really bad even compared to some 3rd world countries.
What's funny is, most people that have been traveling and vacationing outside of US already know all this.
No hate on US, I lived there for 25 years but it changed, for the worst. I hope it recovers, but living in US is not it, you are doing yourself a disservice.
Cheers OP!

As for your picks.. those are very touristy spots. I'm assuming you meant florianopolis? Maybe for a loaded miscer who can show off a bit. Those areas are going to have more competition from locals than other spots. Places like Medellin in Colombia and Belo Horizonte in Brazil are my best value recommendations. Absolutely tons of smoke shows in BH with very little local competition.
