Time traveller from 2034 warns of cataclysmic events this year

A time traveller (apparently from 2034) claims the world will undergo an apocalypse this year with the US suffering massive earthquakes that will unleash grotesque hell spawn called "stalkers" from the pits of hell. Millions of people will disappear according to old mate and humanity will thereafter be pretty much fukked.

Despite mankind being ravaged by "stalkers" we still are stable enough to develop time machines for public use in just 12 years? Sounds like the cataclysm isn't that bad, or the "time traveler" is some schizo moron.

Plot twist: the time traveler is actually a race of Stalker-Human hybrids created when slooty human females saw a bigger, stronger Tyrone emerge from the ground.

Seriously, though, this sounds a lot like the character arc for Five in Umbrella Academy.

So in 10 years we will figure out time travel, but currently can't figured out how to lower gas prices.
