How come Russia doesnt just join NATO?
NATO was founded to counter the Soviet Union, which doesn't exist anymore since 1991 because communism failed.
However, in what looks like they lost the plot but wanted to continue getting tax payer money, NATO has only moved eastward, surrounding the former Soviet Union, pointing missles and hostile military bases closer and closer to the sovereign nation of Russia.
So the easy peaceful solution is for Russia to join NATO, whats the problem

Putin actually proposed the idea of Russia joining NATO to Bill Clinton back in the 90s, to which Clinton refused. It's because in politics, having a good boogeyman is necessary, which Russia plays that part very well. China at that time was too weak to be an effective boogeyman. And even today, China really can't be a good boogeyman because too many US companies have financial interests in China.

Why would they join Nato when Nato is a defence against Russia and its allies?
Nato is at conflict with literally every russian ally.
Every russian ally is a dictatorship Remember?
Says the same people who are allied with Saudi Arabia where the Prince sends hit squads to kill & chop up journalists
Ukraine has since 2014 been ruled by CIA which is why US appointed government officials etc for them. Its all about natural resources. This Russia hate is pure propaganda! Which is why NATO never cares about genocides in poor countries without natural resources

Not everyone can join OP. If they did then there would be no Boogeyman to keep the wheels on the Industrial Military Complex machine churning.

The conversation couldn't even have happened "back in the 90s", since Putin was only appointed mid 1999 and the "talk" between them happened during the last months of Clinton's presidency in 2001, where Putin made a throwaway remark and Clinton called his bullchit by saying that he's not opposed to the idea. That was that. There was also maybe one or two other times when Putin touched on the subject but it was just the usual bullchittery.
If they were serious about it they would have submitted a formal application and then the ball would have been in NATO's court.

Even Biden’s blaming Russia for the inflation in America.
What did the sanctions that Biden imposed on Russia do? Nothing.

NATO has no relevancy without a Russian boogeyman.... and without a boogeyman, there's no way for defense contractors to sell weapons and no way to sell predatory loans for infrastructure rebuilding contracts...

"Vladimir Putin wanted Russia to join Nato but did not want his country to have to go through the usual application process and stand in line “with a lot of countries that don’t matter”, according to a former secretary general of the transatlantic alliance."
skip one, go to third paragraph
"The Labour peer recalled an early meeting with Putin, whobecame Russian president in 2000. “Putin said: ‘When are you going to invite us to join Nato?’ And [Robertson] said: ‘Well, we don’t invite people to join Nato, they apply to join Nato.’ And he said: ‘Well, we’re not standing in line with a lot of countries that don’t matter.’”"
Good job getting blown the fuk out by your own source that flat out states that Putin threw a hissy fit.

Because NATO is an explicitly anti-Russian alliance. Why the phuck are Turkey, Ukraine, and Georgia all talking about joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organization when every single one of them has to travel through at least three major bodies of water to get to the North Atlantic lmfao.
Any why didn't NATO accept Russia when Putin asked to join? Well, besides the fact that NATO is an explicitly anti-Russian alliance, NATO was afraid that Russia would just invoke Article Five the way that Turkey does to try to involve the whole of NATO in their own border crises.

The question we all need to be asking is:
1. Is there anything we need that Russia has that they are keeping us from? (Vice versa)
2. What exact problem does Russia cause for us to exist?
3. Why are we enemies?
When you dig deeper you realize it's all just political manipulation from one side to the other.
It's all because Biden cannot make deals. Doesn't know how to negotiate.
