Kobe carried the 2013 Lakers made the playoffs, Lebron 2022 misses it.
2013 Lakers: Gasoft, Steve trash, Dwight , Metta World War.
2022 Lakers: AD, Melo, Dwight, Westbrook (3 MVP caliber players)
Myth: Lebron makes any team a championship contender.
Proof: Misses the playoffs with a more stacked roster.
Lebron had 2 legit championships:
On a stacked team with Wade and Bosh.
On a stacked team with Wade and Bosh, Ray Allen saving his legacy.
1 championship in a lockout season- doesn't count.
1 championship in the bubble- Doesn't count
Has yet to win a legit championships l in the West. Spent all these years playing against teams in the east who would be 6 seeds at best in the West.
Kobe won multiple championships with DJ Mbenga, Turiaf, Vujacic, Chris Mihm, Jordan Farrmar, Josh Powell, ever heard of these scrubs?

LOL at comparing a 34 year old to a 37 year old player. LOL at arguing someone who trails in every category to someone else is better than that person at a sport. LOL at thinking an MVP level Shaq isn't better than anyone Lebron ever played with on a team. 2001 Lakers are one of the top 5 teams ever OP. Of course Lebron actually beat one of those in the Finals. That's how good was at his peak.

But more importantly, everyone is aware that if Anthony Davis doesn't miss half the season the Lakers are a top 4 seed. Bron has been pushing AD to take the mantle as "best player on the team" since 2020. Same as with Magic and Kareem. Anthony Davis is the one who hasn't held his end of the bargain. People in 2020 were talking about how he might make a run as the greatest PF of all time and rival Duncan in the next 5-7 years. That chit is laughable right now

Lebron has had the easiest path to the finals on teams he hand picks and teams up with. Its embarassing he got swept not once but TWICE in the finals. He's bout to team hop again. Or even worse get traded lol

The fact that this was a graphic ahead of the 18 Finals speaks volumes to the carry job he was doing

Lebron is the leader of the team. He's, according to you, the best player to ever play and they didn't even make the playoffs. Lebron is the one that picked the damn team, ffs. It's on him. Why are you so afraid to criticize him? I know you won't answer that, but please do.

It'd be nice to actually get a serious answer.

Kareem is arguably the 3rd greatest player of all time... but when he was older he needed Magic Johnson to be "that dude", that's how sports and basketball work.
Also Bron ain't pick this damn team lol. He wanted Ty Lue, he wanted Caruso back, he wanted Dame, then he wanted Derozan, he wanted JKidd as a coach, he wanted Dudley as an assistant..... none of those things happened. Lakers front office has been shown to be incompetent for over a decade now, and they continue to be so. You got people like Kurt and Linda Rambis, Phil Jackson, and Magic Johnson all making basketball decisions before the actual GM in Rob Pelinka does.

Stop bringing up irrelevant things when I ask you very simple questions. Why are you so damn afraid to criticize him? You've justified his flopping, his lack of defense, his quitting on his teams, his abysmal failures. I think theonlything I've ever seen you say about him that wasn't akin to being his fluffer was that he screwed up against the Mavs. Can't remember, but I'm willing to bet you even tried to downplay how brutally humiliating it was and how much it hurt his image (still does). You always come back with the comeback against GS made up for it, but it didn't.
So please answer this. Why are you so ****ing afraid to criticize him. Why is itNEVERon him?
No sane person thinks Anthony ****ing Davis is the leader of that team. Absolutely no one but you because it makes your idol look better. How the hell do you not see that?

Yeah this is how I know that you're a moron who doesn't know basketball so let me school you Luni. The reason why he left Cleveland because year after year the organization was unwilling to put a legit star around him, but was more than willing to pay old players on their last contract $$ in order to come to Cleveland on a discount. His final straw was when they didn't trade JJ Hickson for Amare Stoudemire
He was actually able to get some older vets to come on cheaper deals to Miami (Battier, Allen, Mike Miller) but even then in the end Pat Riley and him were at odds in regards to the direction of the team and he had very little say on bigger moves... You do know who Pat Riley is right Luni? I'm gonna guess that you actually don't, but he was the one making the big moves
LeBron wen't back to Cleveland and was undercut by Dan Gilbert again towards the end in trading Kyrie, when Lebron and the GM Kolby Altman BEGGED Dan Gilbert to not trade Kyrie and that they could make it work. Dan Gilbert traded Kyrie Irving for basically Isiah Thomas who was an utter bust. Dan Gilbert has always been very adamant that the Cavs are HIS team, not LeBron's.
LMFAO at this narrative that Bron doesn't play defense.. you do realize that even this past year he had a better defensive rating that KD? That over the past 2 years prior they were the best defensive team in basketball and LeBron was top 5 in almost every single defensive analytic metric, and before his injury last season was a top 5 DPOTY candidate. No you don't know that Luni, because you don't actually watch or know anything about basketball
More importantly... it's not on Bron because he AVERAGED 30 PPG IN YEAR 19 AT AGE 37. He had far and away the greatest statistical season in NBA history from anyone at that age, or in that level of season and it wasn't even close. Towards the end, the only way the Lakers were able to win games were when he dropped 50 points. That's on AD for continually not being able to stay healthy, that's on Westbrook for falling of a cliff in terms of efficiency at the rim, and that's on Vogel for having HORRENDOUS rotations game after game and chalking it up to "experimenting" every postgame. There's a reason why Vogel was on the street before they hired him, he's not a great coach.

Jesus ****ing Christ, dude. You really don't understand sentences. I've posted videos of him literally not playing defense. He's been criticized by countless people, that know FAR more than you about your precious flopball, for not playing defense. I thought you'd be intelligent to understand what I meant, but what a shocker. The mother ****er just ****ing stands there and doesn't try. Is he as bad as Harden? Of course not, but he's THE LEADER OF THE TEAM AND STILL THE FACE OF THE NBA. He deserves the criticism that he has gotten for it. It's truly amazing that I have to spell that out for you.
You are incapable of a debate. You can't comprehend simple sentences, sentences that even a casual sports fan would understand. Forgetting that, you still ignored everything else in the sentence that mentioned his lack of defense.
You're still ignoring a VERY simple question. Why are you incapable of criticizing him? Do you really think he warrantsNONEof it?
Just answer that damn question and stop hiding from it. God damn.
Forgot to mention it's hilarious that you say Davis is the most talented PF in NBA history. You're again putting people on a pedestal to downplay Lebron's shortcomings.

To your point on Lebron not being able to bring back players..... YES YOU FUKN MORON. That's why he left Miami, was because they weren't taking his input on vet mins, including Mike Miller (who would have massively helped out in 2014 when they lost to the Spurs due to 3 point shooting) because Pat Riley wanted it to be HIS team. That's why he left the Cavs the first time, because they wouldn't trade JJ Hickson for Amare Stoudemire (this was just the last straw but there are countless examples of not bringing in a #2 because the organization was too cheap).. That's why he left the Cavs again because they decided to trade Kyrie Irving for peanuts. The Cavs were NEVER LeBron's team, they were Dan Gilberts team. Every informed basketball fan knows that, but again I'm dealing with someone who doesn't actually watch the games.
You self admittedly don't even watch the games, how TF am I going to sit here and listen to you talk about random moments in an 82 game season of Lebron not sprinting back on defense when 2 out of the past 3 years he's been one of the main component on the best defensive team in the NBA, and has a higher defensive rating than the apparent "best player on the planet" in Kevin Durant. Hell the reason why LeBron's defensive analytics even took a dip this year is because HE WAS PLAYING FUKN CENTER for large stretches of the season. That's literally how great this man is at basketball, 2 years ago he leads the league in assists as a PG then later nearly leads the league in scoring while playing center for half the year.
Anthony Davis is arguably the most talented PF in NBA history.. no one his size has the handles, post moves, defensive impact, and shooting that he has and it's not close.
If I was to give a critique on something with Lebron it is that he sometimes gets too careless with his assists. He tries to get "the others" involved too much at times, but it's a tough balance at this point in his career because he can't go berserk scoring every single game all 4 qts.. he's too old and he gets too tired. He's gotta get the others guys in a rhythm, but find that balance between scoring and not.
Hes not the elite man to man defender ALL GAME anymore that he was in his prime. He's still an elite team defender, but he's basically an above average man to man defender until the 4th qt when he can guard the best player in spurts. The best example of this was when Luka gave him fits when they clashed this year. Think that was the first time in probably forever where someone not named Kevin Durant gave him problems in a 1v1 situation. But hey at age 37-38 I'll take it
